Who was the person who had the Glee fantasy that Adam's secret reveal was that he was studying opera, and he sings an aria on Glee? It prompted discussion about whether or not Adam could credibly sing an operatic aria on Glee. Well, I was chatting with our favorite opera singer/voice coach, Angelina Kalahari, this afternoon. I told her the fantasy and asked if she thought Adam could sing opera. Immediately, unequivacably, and adamantly she said "YES!" He definitely has the techniques necessary. Additionally, he is a master at vocal placement, which is all important in opera. He almost always sings within the "mask" in the front of his face, which is very desireable and something most pop singers do not do. (She is referring to that brilliant resonant richness to his tone that we refer to as 3D.) Opera singers also work on emotional delivery, which he has in spades. And on proper articulation, which, again, Adam has down like no other. I said something like, "So, Adam could sing opera right now, with some coaching on style." She said not only "yes" but that he wouldn't need coaching. At most, he would need a bit on Italian pronunciation, but he has the keen ear to pick that up very quickly. (He also told her when they chatted once that he had sung opera during The Three Waiters gig. She commented that he wouldn't have gotten or kept that gig if he couldn't sing opera credibly.) So, there you have it. The definitive (IMHO)answer to "Can Adam legitimately sing opera?" Now, in what universe can we convince him to give it a go, just once? Squeeeee.....that was me, cassie. I really enjoyed the discussion that followed and am just thrilled about what Angelina said. I know it would not be popular (in Glee) but there is some popular "light" opera out there, no? Anyway, it would be jawdroppingly awesome. Someday...when the time is right, it will happen if only because Adam likes challenges. |

Thanks for this, adamrocks! I haven't seen this before! I'm tellin' ya... I have never EVER seen Adam more drop-dead gorgeous than in that diner scene. OH. MY. GOD. YW Seoulmate. I know....so DAY-UM gorgeous!! But I say that about almost every pick I see if Adam. I'm easily pleased!  |

There is something about that b&w Lee Cherry pic of Adam that I DON'T LIKE. Maybe it reminds me of Drake? ??? Maybe it's just Melvin? I can't figure it out exactly. This is the part I REALLY LOVE:  Actually, the lips/jawline remind me of David Cook. Now I think David is one handsome dude in his own right..just not on an Adam cover..wish I could bring one of David's pics over. More resemblance than one would think. JMO. |

Why would he want to sing it? Well, hypothetically speaking..... 1. I don't imagine he WANTED to sing WTFS either. But that is what the script called for. So, he sang it. , I think this is the only way we're ever gonna hear Adam doing something opera-ish. Gawwwd... it would be so epic if something were written into the Glee script... even just 60 seconds... even if we only hear him through the bathroom door as Elliott/Starchild is taking a shower or something. And then the camera would pan across Kurt and Rachel's faces-->  as they're hanging out on the couch in the living room... yakking about the next Pamela Landsbury gig.  |

OK..comparison shopping here..  Now tell me there is no resemblance..not the total face..look nose down. That's what has been bugging me. It's not a literal thing. It's an 'essence'? OR..  Anyone else get what I'm seeing or do I need new lenses in my glasses? IMO in this Cherry shoot, I get a David Cook vibe. |

Plays once and stops. So, what am I doing wrong??? Just guessing, but I hypothesize that whoever posted the repeating playlist deleted it? Since the next ep of Glee involving Adam has aired, people may be moving on to give another video hits. Maybe.
