Basically the theme of lyrics is that in trying to be so differently weird and hip, people are conforming in a different way and are followers just like most on social media, and people need to work harder to be really unique. Then, again, I am applying my own values and context in my interpretation, of course. Maybe it's not that deep. I couldn't really understand the lyrics, so thank you for your interpretation! And yes! That is an idea that is so close to me. I was (sorta) part of a 'punk' scene in the early '90s and they never really accepted me, mainly because I wasn't different in the exact same way as they were. Never understood that, how can you turn on 'the establishment' because you think that people tend to conform too much, and do the same thing yourself? Ok, rant over, probably just my thing. I'll be more on topic next time!

I'm not sure whether these videos were ever posted, but I found the complete QAL 2nd night ( 7-14-12 7-12-12) concert shot a bit further back from the stage. They really made me feel like I was sitting in the audience at the Hammersmith. The sound is okay, not pristine, but you can see the whole stage and even the video clips being shown behind Roger and Rufus. Anyway, I've been enjoying watching them in between work and meetings -- maybe others will, too. The concert is in 5 parts, here is part 1. The 4 other parts show up in the playlist next to this video on YouTube. ETA: Fixed typo on date. Long day at work ...
