Did anyone listen to the songs Adam tweeted about? I made it thru about half of Kids trying to focus on the LYRIC he was so OMG about. But I guess it is too early in the morning to endure the voice that was singing it, maybe a late at night tune? I shut off the Jessie J/Robin Thicke song almost immediately, blech. Does it get better?

Does it get better? I actually listened all the way thru the Kids song. Agree voice terrible, synth beats so prominent they obscure voice (good); obscuring lyrics (bad). I searched for a lyric online for the song, but its too new. Which is why I posted the Guardian review link on page 2. Basically the theme of lyrics is that in trying to be so differently weird and hip, people are conforming in a different way and are followers just like most on social media, and people need to work harder to be really unique. Then, again, I am applying my own values and context in my interpretation, of course. Maybe it's not that deep.

Does it get better? I loved the Kids tune, even tho I couldn't make out some of the lyrics, even after several listens. I was not aware of this other young Swedish DJ/composer "Style of Eye"...seems he co-wrote that huge Icona Pop hit "I Love It". I was disappointed in the Jessie J/Robin Thicke tune, altho JJ's vocals were great. The song was kinda boring to me......altho I liked the disco feel. It'll probably be a hit. ETA. ljsmack........I agree with your interpretation of the lyrics and can see why Adam gave the lyrics an OMG !!!!!!!

In reading more about Justin Tranter, I'm not shipping at all, except professionally for Adam because Tranter's bio says he graduated from Berklee School of Music in 3yrs with a 3.9 in songwriting. So, while SPW opened for Gaga and bio states that he is bi-sexual, it seems his experience (he actually worked retail in jewelry and produced jewelry merchandise for SPW fans) and contacts and success in jewelry industry (mom a designer) help finance SPW. He is 2yrs older than Adam. he didn't have any voice training and almost blew out his voice on strenuous Gaga tour schedule, but since had "emergency" voice warm up and protection training in a 10 day boot camp.
To be clear, I think his rock sensibility meshes with Adam, and all that training in theory and songwriting might produce an exceptional collaboration.

YW Sophie. I loved that this video let me feel the excitement of watching Adam/Queen perform on the iHeart stage. Queen's whole production with lights, screen, pyro, and color were amazing for that short performance. Class act!
