Ok I'm seriously confused with Adam's Lindsey interview . recently He has said that 2014 is going to be very intense and then in the interview he acts like nothing much is happening..WTF then he says if he doesn't have a record out by 2014 something is seriously wrong and to add to that he hopes he has songs that radio will like. Are big labels afraid radio won't play Adam? Or is he near a deal and can't talk .. Won't finish album until he signs with a label.. HUH so mixed up. I can't remember him being this coy.. Maybe everything is up in the air. But watch his body language---there are good things (mainly, a label, I think) that he can't spill. And I took the "...something would be seriously wrong" as confirmation that an album WILL be out next year. Just watch his body language as he says it. I agree, that's what I take away from the interview. New label soonish.....new record sometime in 2014. Then, I suppose, any subsequent tour would be in late 2014, but more likely spring/summer 2015......just my guess. Hope I'm still alive and mobile by then...LOL. Maybe we'll get a little Qbert during 2014 to tide us over. |

I think saying there will be a new album in 2014 or something is seriously wrong was a pretty strong statement that there will be a new album in 2014.
ETA: I think/am hoping he is farther along with the album than he is indicated in that interview. And I am pretty sure there will be another QAL event in 2014. Many rumors swirling around that one. Seems like Brian is fueling most of them -- and these rumors do not always materialize.
That interview was odd though, like he was not going to give Lyndsey any news or even any hints of things to come. I have learned the biggest things happen when we see that close-mouthed smile.

Maybe we'll get a little Qbert during 2014 to tide us over. yup, all that sipping with this Bamby look on his face and looking aside, perhaps at his manager...basically trying to avoid answering the questions that he DID KNOW the answers to... IMO when he really doesn't know his answers flow much easier... So, to me it was a very encouraging interview, it left me assured of a new label and the album. I am surprised Lyndsey did not ask about Queen.... |
