Coming in a little late here - but back to Barracuda -
Ann and Nancy Wilson are among the very few people in the entertainment industry that I have known personally. Both are good people. While off-stage Ann can be rather quiet and introspective, on-stage she is a powerhouse. She puts in so much energy in her performances, and her voice is so powerful and simply put - amazing! I have so much respect for her.
I never thought of Adam doing a Heart song, but wow! I hope Lea and Adam singing Barracuda is not just a rumor, but that's it's really going to happen. This will be sort a full-circle moment for me when it does happen.  Small world -- I worked with them back in the 80's when I lived in Seattle and I agree 1000%. They were great to work with and their management was also very fair/reliable/nice. There are several Heart songs that seem really good for Adam -- "Barracuda" and "Crazy on You" are top of my list! But also "All I Wanna Do Is Make Love to You", "Never" and "Little Queen" are all right in his zone. And...."Magic Man" youtu.be/mXOO7QVHgXsETA: The band Heart, was called Hocus Pocus for a while. Also called The Army and White Heart. I think they were Heart by 1972. I am sure it in on the Web somewhere. And they had some other band names in the 1960's. |

I just saw an ad for Adam Levine's clothing line at KMart, and thought, "oh no they got the wrong Adam again". I mean certainly it is the super fashionable Adam that has the clothing line right? Oh no! Everytime I see that I cringe. Adam Levine is doing KMart and ProActive Acne Products. When the real Adam does his fashion like I hope it is at someplace much cooler then KMart. (No offense to KMart shoppers) ** Adam should get control of his merchandising from 19/Core Media in January.
How about Diesel jeans? He has one or couple of them.

Sorry to rehash this topic but I wanted to post this video about the making of Bohemian Rhapsody. It really shows what a musical and songwriting genius Freddie Mercury was, and not just a great singer and performer. It is a little long but if you have the time give it a watch. Really will give you some insight into making a legendary song by a iconic artist. To me this is what really sets Freddie apart
Thank you for posting this. I can only say this >> SUPER GENIUS!!! In his genius mind he created this very complicated song (musicality and vocally) and Brian & Roger understood what he wanted.
