OMG - I am still in shock! I am such a big heart fan... if this spoiler is true, I am going to die. No doubt about that!!!! Ann Wilsons voice is so wonderful and amazing ![]() and so is Adam's. Adam singing heart, this will be a dream come true.  I am enough of a rock fan to be elated when I heard they were singing "Gloria," which I just assumed was the ultimate garage band song by Van Morrison and Them and covered by Patti Smith, and countless others (the song is right up there with Louie, Louie). And I cracked up when I found out it was the Laura Branigan song, which I heard when it came out, then promptly forgot for the next 30 years. Now that I think of it, it is of course more Glee-y and the thought of them turning Pamela Lansbury into a raw, rough, bluesy garage band would be absurd (well, I think it would be awesome, of course, but too bizarre for even this show that takes willing-suspension-of-disbelief to ridiculous levels). But, but ... Barracuda! Ann Wilson's voice is a monster. Not sure I fully appreciated exactly HOW great it was, in the 70s, although this album was on heavy rotation among myself and my friends in my high school days. Lea and Adam could do incredible things with this (at least Adam could; Lea's voice is wonderful and buttery, but is this in her range? Just curious.) Sooo excited! |
