The best I can find out is that the string of Queen + Adam Lambert willinclude North America and almost certainly something in Asia -- maybe Tokyo. But more than the US is in play. (I got this from a source close to the Brian and Roger who should know but it is NOT confirmed info.) *** My guess is 10 dates, enough to support some real production vs. the relatively low production values they did for the 2012 shows. *** Shoshanna's tweets are interesting today, but nothing to do with Adam beyond her RT of the Glee BTS video. "What does it mean to BE Queen?" To most Queen fans, that means some production. Not a Gaga extravaganza but a theatrical event. More than lights and fog and a couple lasers. But, but, but...... THEY HAD ADAM!!! #theatrical

For those looking at how many dates QAL would be, Brian said the same thing "string of dates" about the last mini-tour...so I'd expect another round of 5-10. Is the conventional wisdom North American dates only? 5 to 10 North America would be wonderful. 5-10 shows is OK. I guess It should be no longer than a month right? I guess it is better time spent than coming out of Bootsy Bellows every weekend. I hope it is only NA because otherwise there will be another round of outcry that fans couldn't get to see Queenbert. Waiting for the more exciting album and label news though.

Am I the only one who finds it amusing how we have gone within 24 hours from 'cannot fill arenas' to hopefully 'only NA because otherwise there will be another round of outcry that fans couldn't get to see Queenbert'. Wonder what happened to this 'irrelevant band' and their temporary front man who is 'coming out of Bootsy Bellows every weekend'. With no media coverage what so ever, I find that an amazing over-night turn around. Don't you? Maybe, just maybe, some of the quoted statements are expressing more the wishes of the author, rather than the reality of the situation? Just wondering.

[puts on Mod hat for a moment]
Just a reminder guys, everyone is entitled to their own opinions. If you have a different opinion, that's totally fine, but remember that you can only respond to a stated opinion, not make commentary about the poster making the opinion.
If that guideline is a little confusing and you're not sure exactly what that means, just ask a mod. That's our job.
Remember, there's no one way to be a fan, and EVERYONE is here because they love Adam!
#peace #partyon! [takes off mod hat and rushes off to find the Glee story]

I attended the 2012 Hammersmith concerts and the show production values were absolutely fine. For the older bands, the pyrotechenics are in the music.
This concert string may not be much bigger than the last one and Queen may very well use the same sets, slide and light show, especially if they aren't covering the UK or Eastern Europe. As far as North America and Asian audiences are concerned, this is brand new. I know a lot of us (including me) went to Hammersmith but we are a drop in the North American bucket.

Your misreading because my opinion hasn't changed. Queen is still irrelevant to Adam's career, they won't fill arenas here in the US. At least not on MSG level. Since it is a done deal and fans in the US missed out last time it make sense. No amazing over-night turn around for me.

I think it would be interesting for Adam/Lea to have a hetero storyline. Demi is straight playing a lesbian character. It would show Adam's acting skills and garner a lot of press. It would also break the stereotype that Gay men can't play straight. NPH plays a straight character but was cast before his sexuality was public.
