Wonderful story, 4EverAdam! I agree--Adam should give cats another chance. Not only are they survivors, but they're beautiful, independent, and don't suffer fools gladly! You'd think he'd appreciate those qualities!

4EverAdam...you are a photo dynamo today..woo hoo! I keep seeing your 'hot' self flying by post after post!! More, please??? Have a little cat story too, since it's feline day..My DH and I decided to try the RV life but we couldn't take our cat, Sammy, with us. As much as I hated to have to find another home for him, I knew he would live a miserable life. A very fine situation came up and I felt like he had a loving family. Turns out, it didn't turn out. I got an e-mail out of the blue months later, that Sammy was not living at the house, but was homeless. Being fed by my old neighbors. I called the gal who fostered him before I adopted Sammy and she went and found him. Lori kept him and nursed him back to health. The RV thing fell through and I was living in Portland. One night Lori called and said a couple she knew were driving to Portland for the holidays and they would bring Sammy back to me. I sobbed for joy. We met at a truck stop outside Portland and there I saw my orange, furry tabby meowing like crazy. "MOM"! He recognized me at once. I couldn't stop crying. There are angels everywhere who help reunite pets with the people they are meant to be with. I now live in the country, and my Sammy is the happiest he has ever been. And I will never part with a pet again..it about tore me apart. Some things have to be, but some stories do have happy endings. It's people like you, 4EverAdam, that keep my faith that the world is a place for acts of kindness. A big aloha to 'Big Boy'..my 'boy' is big too. Holiday tales.

I'm beginning to think That Adam is one of the most photographed people on the planet.. There are hundreds and hundreds of shots of him on google IKR? Photobucket used to have about 32,000, but they must have purged their files. Last search, I only found a few. Have no idea what happened. Used to be a goldmine of Adamness. No more..
