This is a great performance since it was a great foretelling of the future. Unfortunately Adam had to share the stage with Kris.

Family is requesting that I remove myself from the computer so I guess I better go and be social. Since there are a gazillion children here and the noise level is almost unbearable, I am going to start drinking double Molly Hogans. I may not be coherent enough to log in again until tomorrow. Have a wonderful evening and hope Santa fulfills all of your wishes.

Awww, I've seen it a dozen times, but watching the performance with Queen on the Idol finale makes me tear up! So amazing to think of everything that has happened since.

I have been looking for a good holiday gif for you all, but of course found none better than the great one made by chapf. So since this can't be quoted enough, here it is again. I have been foolish enough to promise to cook the christmas dinner for the family. I will probably be ok, but I might need some of those golden and brown swirled coffee-whiskey lollies that I kept carefully stashed away since that first GLEE night. And a dose of Lay me down, or MTN or maybe even Sure Fire Winners. Yeah... getting more positive about tomorrow by the minute. I wish all of you very happy and great holidays!! And my favourite tv performance... I think it has to be the one that blew part of my brain out and replaced it with 'need more Adam singing' half a year ago. That was:

This site is so quiet!!! I know many of you are cooking, cleaning, shopping, wrapping AND partying in preparation for the holiday. That RL sure gets in the way of computer time with online Adam friends. LOL. Just want to wish all Atoppers a happy and healthy holiday.

That Melbourne interview (page 1) is a hoot. "Art Festival" indeed.

Where's the Christmas spirit? - a true story
Today a big newspaper in Turku told about an 80-year-old who ended up with no electricity for Christmas due to an unpaid invoice of 90 euros. The story was picked up by national news outlets.
The energy company received hundreds of comments on FB and phone calls from people who were angry and blamed the company for being heartless etc. - but also from people who were offering to pay the invoice. The company rejected the offers saying on FB that they cannot give any customer info to third parties and wished the customer would contact them. Well, several people remarked that it's not good enough as the customer might not even have an FB account and how's he supposed to access it without electricity even if he had one. That was the second round of national news.
At 10.20 pm third round of news reported that the company finally found a way to take the money offered as a gift and is connecting the electricity back.
How difficult can it be? The CEO and PR Manager have been spending quality time before and after Santa's visit by talking to media and getting nice PR, ha. I hope the company tried to call him, he was not home but invited to somewhere to have a proper dinner and that's why it took so long - but IDK what really happened. At least he'll be able to warm up some food now. (Most homes are kept warm with heated water so I guess that was not a problem.) All in all, I'm glad something's right in the end.

Thank you for the wonderful tree, chapf!
The performances being posted are such a treat! I tend to forget some of them and then when I'm reminded, all I can do is sigh and fall in love all over again.
