[smear:FF0033] MERRY CHRISTMAS, Y'ALL[/smear:006600] The American half of my family is Jewish and it's the German half that celebrates Christmas, so we celebrated last night in the Northern European way even deep in the heart of Texas. Real bee's-wax candles on the tree and German Lebkuchen (gingerbread) and Stollen and everything  . I know Texas is already well represented in today's pics, but I wanted to show you what a local electric company does to some of our beautiful live oak trees outside their headquarters this time of year. I went to see them the other day and it was so magical:    Happy Happy Merry Merry  |

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE! I was amazed the other day when out driving, that our local (small town here) station played "Time for Miracles"!!! I was going to come here and let you all know, I was so excited, but my trip went long and got side tracked. I love this song:-) Have a great day everyone. I love all the pictures and greetings. midwifespal that is gorgeous! I thought Fredericksburg went all out. This is in Johnson City (LBJ's hometown), so just down the road from Fredericksburg. It really was lovely. They also sell some of the best funnel-cakes I've ever had at the downtown Christmas-lights festival each year! |
