Comparing. Hey, it's what we humans do. Hard to go against natural instincts. The comparison I kept making tonight was with the YTs I viewed of Britney's new show. It was the polar opposite of Adam's in almost every way. All glitz, glamour, production values, bells, whistles, lights, special effects, flying, corps of dancers, multiple costumes, larger than life times ten. And not a bit of excitement, fun or joy to be seen and heard. Adam, on the other hand, with just a four piece band and some minimal backing tracks to fill in the harmonies and electronics, set the place on FIRE! The vocals were gasp-worthy. So ringing, crisp, clear, creative and in the moment. The dancing/movement was all Adam, and spoke of the sheer elation of being consumed by the music and the energy of the crowd and the ecstacy of singing and performing. There was such LIFE from beginning to end. Such warmth. Such personality. And such a stunning voice. Just IMO, of course. YMMV. For me, even with a live stream, distorted audio, and only glimpses of Adam from afar, the show was thoroughly entertaining. Can't wait for more videos. Totally nailed it!

He's doing band intro's now. Would rather he just did more songs tbh #petpeeve :/ I am with you on that score....so many on our wish list he could add in. There are others from Trespassing he has done in the past....not like he or the band have to learn new ones. He still has many from the GNT era he is probably does not think fit his set list...but I just want more Adam. also 90 min show .......without having to include time for the fainter. ( bad me) The back up singers/ dancers/bigger production sure gave more latitude so as to not have all the black- outs.... Not sure what they are doing...is it so he catches his breath? To organize for the next songs? Show was 1 hr 23 mins. Started at 8:22 and ended at 9:45. Adam will never NOT introduce his band, his accompaniest, etc. It's who he is. Always a gracious performer who came from the theater world. I love him for it!

Butterknife, you're the best! To perhaps sacrifice some of your own fun to livestream for all of us who are at home in front of the computer and making us feel like we are part of the action
