8:00 AM PST 12/31/2013 by Michele Amabile Angermiller The Hollywood Reporter looks back at 13 noteworthy moments involving alums of the Fox show. Adam Lambert with Queen's Brian May. From marriages to births to Glee guest-starring roles, 2013 was certainly a busy year for American Idol alums and judges. Adam part: 3. Adam Lambert Rocks iHeartRadio: The season-eight runner-up's set with Queen at September's iHeartRadio festival in Las Vegas was the biggest highlight of the night. How good was Lambert's performance? Just before a closing duet of the classically camp anthem "Fat Bottomed Girls," fun. leader Nate Ruess described Lambert as "the best singer I know." Never far from Sin City, Lambert returned to Las Vegas this past weekend to check out Britney Spears’ new show, Piece of Me. 5. Idols Invade Glee: Much fanfare surrounded Adam Lambert and Jessica Sanchez as each had their perspective turns on Glee. The season-eight and season-11 favorites held their own on the Fox show, showing off their vocal and acting chops. Sanchez took on the role of Frida Romero, and Lambert shone as Starchild, taking over in a big scene belting “Marry the Night” by Lady Gaga. 11. Angie Miller Duets with Adam Lambert. A highlight of the season 12 finale? Angie Miller's duet of David Guetta's “Titanium” featuring season-eight alum Adam Lambert. It was easily the most exciting moment of the show, and a standout of the entire season.

My set up is a cable router provided by Comcast/X-Finity. Cable, internet and wifi, and phone connect through the single router. Have had it for about 4 months. My laptop is a Dell Inspirion 15.6 with wireless and bluetooth purchased first of December with Intel(R)Core(TM) i5-4200U CPU @ 1.60GHz 2.30. 6 GB and 64 bit operating, windows 8 - I probably should have gone for the i7 CPU. Looks like X-finity uses an SMCD3CNV model router. Comcast said to check for a "wireless protected setup" button on the laptop but didn't see one so set up the wifi connection manually. I checked on security and my network is private. No one else can access it. I live in an area that has a sizeable population and large military bases. Certain times of the day even the direct internet access bogs down with traffic volume (comcast won't admit to it but it happens). I have had to replace modems before so if this keeps up, I can do that. Hope this is enough info. My gut feeling is that it has to do with the router/signal in the house. Might have to get some sort of booster possibly. The other part of it is that it seems to work just fine for a few days and then I have connection issues for a day or two and then the problems magically disappear. The range problem is definitely a problem with the router not having enough range. So you only have 1 box that both connects to the cable and does the wireless? Then likely it could be connected to a more powerful router or an extender. How big is your house? How many floors? Is the router located upstairs or downstairs, in the middle of the house or towards one end. A quick google search & I see lots of people are complaining about the range of the SMCD3CNV router saying it has 1/4 the range of their previous router. So likely you need to buy a router rather than renting one from Comcast or buy a bridge/repeater. I've seen some instructions on this, but it will take me a while to filter through it. Since I am going to the Winstar tonight and traveling tomorrow, it may be a few days before I can make a recommendation on this. Dells are easy to get the exact specification for. Just look on the bottom and give me the service tag number. It should be 7 or 8 or so mixed letters & numbers. With that number, I should be able to look up the exact network card on the Dell web site. I especially want to know if the network card is single or dual band. If it is dual band, then you want a dual band router which is much faster than single band. Tag Number is 5JX5RY1. I do have my Linksys Series E Cicso wireless router that I saved. Prior to laptop had a couple other wireless devices and comcast had not updated my router at that time. I could always go back to using that and tell comcast they can take their wireless router back - thank you - and give me the one I had before and I will stay with my own router. Have a wonderful time tonight. Looking forward to audio file from Biloxi and any other treasures you record tonight. I have access to internet so can use my desktop if wireless starts acting strange tonight - so focus on your New Year's festivities and send me a PM with info in the next day or two. Hope you get to party with lots of Atop members. Per house description: My house is single story. Orignal house is a small brick cottage type house with an addition on the back where the master bedroom/bath and family & dining room is located. I can get wireless in the master bedroom area. The office/computer room is in the orignal part of the house in a small converted back bedroom It is only 25 feet from the router, down the hall, and into the front livingroom from the computer room. The connection behaves the same way in the livingroom as it does in the master bedroom which is farther away. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR HELP!!!! Go have a good time!!

Have we ever seen an audience with this many men? No wonder we kept hearing male voices during the live stream! Love it! This audience was very different from any I have seen before. It was mostly local folks -- and there were a lot of straight guys in the audience. Biloxi has a lot of retired military (Air Force) residence -- active and retired and their were a lot of guys from the base there. (I never saw that before.) Also, there were many local gay and lesbian couples. Really nice to see such a "Mississippi" audience dance at an Adam concert. *** One other thing was that there were a couple different guy who yelled "We love you Adam." One was a big beefy straight seeming guy (with a woman at the concert) -- not something I remember seeing before.
