Tag Number is 5JX5RY1. I do have my Linksys Series E Cicso wireless router that I saved. Prior to laptop had a couple other wireless devices and comcast had not updated my router at that time. I could always go back to using that and tell comcast they can take their wireless router back - thank you - and give me the one I had before and I will stay with my own router. Have a wonderful time tonight. Looking forward to audio file from Biloxi and any other treasures you record tonight. I have access to internet so can use my desktop if wireless starts acting strange tonight - so focus on your New Year's festivities and send me a PM with info in the next day or two. Hope you get to party with lots of Atop members. Per house description: My house is single story. Orignal house is a small brick cottage type house with an addition on the back where the master bedroom/bath and family & dining room is located. I can get wireless in the master bedroom area. The office/computer room is in the orignal part of the house in a small converted back bedroom It is only 25 feet from the router, down the hall, and into the front livingroom from the computer room. The connection behaves the same way in the livingroom as it does in the master bedroom which is farther away. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR HELP!!!! Go have a good time!!The wireless card in your laptop is: Dell DW1705 802.11 b/g/n, BT4.0 + HS "b/g/n" is the class of wireless networks the card will connect to. "G" is faster than "B" and "N" is faster than both "G" or "B". Very recently they have come out with class "AC" which is faster than all of these, but only very top end routers and wireless cards are compatible with "AC" at the moment. "BT4.0" means that is does the very latest version of Bluetooth. I think "HS" means "High Speed" but I am not sure and will have to look into this more. It looks like this card is only single band (2.5 GHz). So, your laptop will connect to a class "N" wireless network and you want a router capable of class "N". My old router is about 8 years old and it will only do class "G". But anything bought in the last few years should have class "N". I will need the model number on your Cisco router to see what class it is, or look for something like "b/g/n" printed on the router. It says Class B so it should work with this Laptop - It wasn't very expensive. I could pass it on to a friend and go get one that is a Class N. That would probably be better. Now, will you go have some fun!!

Have we ever seen an audience with this many men? No wonder we kept hearing male voices during the live stream! Love it! This audience was very different from any I have seen before. It was mostly local folks -- and there were a lot of straight guys in the audience. Biloxi has a lot of retired military (Air Force) residence -- active and retired and their were a lot of guys from the base there. (I never saw that before.) Also, there were many local gay and lesbian couples. Really nice to see such a "Mississippi" audience dance at an Adam concert.*** One other thing was that there were a couple different guy who yelled "We love you Adam." One was a big beefy straight seeming guy (with a woman at the concert) -- not something I remember seeing before. Must have given you a sense of "comfort" and "satisfaction" that he was well received in one of your "home states". Put a smile in your heart and on your face.
YES...thank gosh locals show up; lots of quiet fans out there! I am thrilled to see these concert halls filled with people who may just be "casual" fans convert to ...yah! they would go again to his concert(s). Fan support, can grow....and grow....AND, after a concert like that....it should GROW! Yah for Water cooler talk! People are looking for good entertainment...and his press lately with Glee/Queen/iheart/and maybe awards is keeping Adam in touch with America, and other countries. I would loved to have taken a poll of attendees to see how and when their interest in Adam developed or what caused them to say ...HEY....were going to a Lambert concert! Just interesting to know! Xmas presents? Only show in town..over the holidays? Anyway..it seems this was a concert not to be missed...that I missed. SO...Looking forward to new and exciting things...and Finally my New Year's resolution.... .....to get to a series of back to back concerts in 2014/15...because Adam is going to tour again. I just know it...well... I JUST HOPE IT!

My Biloxi audio has been uploaded to SoundCloud with MP3 download capability. I am posting the link here first to give you all a chance to download first and then I will post to twitter in about an hour. I will be uploading the MP3 & higher quality FLAC files to Mega next, from which you can also download. This audio is unedited other than the conversion to the file format. It is very high quality, but it is very bass heavy as was the concert. If you don't like the heavy bass, you can play it with an application that has an equalizer and adjust the bass to your liking. If people want, I could upload an equalized version with less bass next weekend. The MP3 & FLAC files are the full length, unsplit concert. There are some longish breaks between some of the song. Over the weekend, I will split the file into individual songs, cutting out the breaks between songs, and hopefully then it will fit onto 1 CD. This is the first time I've done SoundCloud, so please let me know if the link works & downloads. soundcloud.com/dancygeorgia/tracks

Now, will you go have some fun!! Yes, you want class N. But there many different class N routers with different speeds and ranges. But as a general rule, you will need to spend about $90-120 for a decent router, $200 for the very top end with the best speed & range. Anything around $50 will not have much speed or range. And there is a difference between a cable modem, a router, and a cable modem + router. We need to look more closely at your setup before buying anything. Are you currently using the Cisco router in your setup? Is it connected to the cable modem?
