Adam Lambert premieres new song at New Year's Eve concert

Oklahoma City, OK — Adam Lambert rocked in 2014 with a live show at the WinStar World Casino and Resort in Thackerville, Oklahoma, where he premiered a new song.



Lambert performed a live version of Lay Me Down for the crowd.

The track is a collaboration between Swedish DJ-producer Avicii and Nile Rodgers of Chic and can be found on Avicii's debut studio album TRUE. Lambert was given a writing credit on the song.

Lambert also performed a new cover of Jimi Hendrix's Red House.



The 31-year-old Lambert has promised his fans new music in 2014.

Glee is on hiatus, but we have some dish on what Gleeks can expect to see once the show returns February 25:

* Adam Lambert‘s Starchild will be singing duets with both Chris Colfer and Lea Michele. While Lambert and Michele are allegedly performing Heart’s “Barracuda,” there’s no word on what he and Colfer will sing. Only that pole-dancing will be involved. We’re okay with that.

* New Directions will face serious competition at Nationals from Throat Explosion and its breakout star, played by Pitch Perfect‘s Skylar Astin.

* Episode 10 will be Jayma Mays‘ “penultimate” appearance, and will feature a very Will/Emma-centric arc.

* Kristin Chenoweth is confirmed for Glee’s 100th episode on March 18, which will also signal the return of former Gleeks Dianna Agron, Heather Morris, Mark Salling, Amber Riley and Harry Shum Jr.


How The Gleeks Rang in 2014

Since Glee is on a production break, most of the cast laid low for New Year’s (except for Jane Lynch, who hosted NBC’s festivities along with Carson Daly). But some did Gleeks find ways to celebrate:

Hammonton's Club Revolution welcomes all

Filomena Boccella and Kristen Distler had a vision — to create an alternative nightclub geared toward the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender (LGBT) community, but warmly welcoming to all.

After months of renovations and remodeling, their vision transformed into reality with the grand opening of Club Revolution on Nov. 16 on North Egg Harbor Road in downtown Hammonton. They also held a Thanksgiving eve bash featuring resident DJ, Diane Pooler, and performances by Vanessa Demonet and exotic dancers.

Boccella says they aspire to “provide a safe, non-judgmental environment.” The Hammonton residents, who are life partners, say they are filling a need in the community.

Open Thursday through Sunday evenings, their 4,500-square-foot venue will offer specialty drinks, complimentary buffets and diverse entertainment , such as female illusionists (aka drag queens), themed events and monthly Latin nights. Featured performers include Distler, who impersonates such iconic pop stars as Madonna, Pink and Adam Lambert.
