The previous post was not an admonition to post these examples on the other thread rather than here. It is wonderful to see and hear these examples of Adam's amazing voice and performance skills. I was only letting the newbies and lurkers know of a feature of this forum they might not have discovered yet. One more rabbit hole to fall down. Didn't take it that way at all!! Very grateful in fact to the reminder that the wonderful resource of that thread is here on Adamtopia! So easy to overlook the great side benefits of our amazing site!! |

Hmmmm. Let me think. Go to a live Adam concert and hear that voice in all its glory. Hear all the rich harmonics as they are meant to be heard. OR, watch a video taken by an iPhone (not generally known for the quality of its audio recording) displayed on my laptop.
Meet new friends and reunite with old ones and communally share the joy and excitement of Adam performing live. OR, turn to my dogs and say "Did you just hear that note? GAWD! How the hell is he doing that?" Email links to my family and friends who won't respond and probably won't even click on the link.
If I have the proximity, the finances and the ability to attend an Adam Lambert concert in person, never once will the fact that it will be recorded by fans and posted on YT enter into the decision making process. I will be there!
Sadly, his concerts this past year have not been in proximity and I haven't had the funds to make a pilgrimage to go see him. But, I live in hope for 2014.

Seriously doubt it! Can't think of anyone I know who would say, "Oh well, not going to go see P!NK, Kelly, Katy, or Adam Lambert because I can watch the You Tubes!" LOL! If anything, as stated above, seeing the You Tubes makes people want to go see it live.
Wasn't Biloxi sold out though?

My dh and I both agree that Adam Lambert was the best live performance we have attended. He is an outstanding performer. The You Tubes are great and highly appreciated by those of us that can't travel far and wide BUT nothing is like seeing Adam Live. He more then fills the room in song and presence.

I have been to 3 concerts in my life and two of those were Adam's. one at Universal and the other Biloxi. I have watched videos online of Adam's performances for the last almost 5 years and they only wetted..lol...my appetite to see him live and have the experience of being with other fans....depending on where he will perform live next I plan on being there...I am so thankful for all the fans that post live streams and videos and photos...they always make my day...thank you all....and yes I am having fun and loving being an Adam Lambert fan

Watching Bono on Fareed Zakaria's sundays show. Bono was asked about his creativity.. He said something that I love" a song writes you" for him,the best songs just come to him. It's difficult to sit down and say I want to write a song about..He said often he just wakes up with a song .
Bono feels lucky to have that gift and doesn't take it lightly.
