I think UENO is short for UOENO. UOENO = “you don’t even know.” I have googled and checked every site I can to find that, and have come up with nothing! Where, how is the "you don't even know" translation coming from? Was a pretty big hit song and quite a bit of media coverage - turned into a bit of faux gangsta thing- thought it was passé by this point. last year was big for rapey songs apparently idek. easier to find as u.o.e.n.o.

With the O, it makes sense. Without the O, I don't get get the "don't" But it doesn't matter anyway, that photo site does stuff like that on all their photos.

UOENO is from the south (Mississippi-Memphis) so maybe it just got to LA. [It really is from Mississippi as far as I can tell -- as is Rick Ross who released U.O.E.N.O.] It did start out as a real urban expression -- and is still used in the South. But the UENO variation seems to be new and from Southern California. I can't find the origin of UENO. It just seems to have popped up.

I read UENO as "you know?" -- like, you know, right?
