Just getting back from a lovely day on the slopes - no I am not a good skier, never was, and I am too out of shape to do much anyhow. But helping the kids on the bunny hill is about the level that is right for me - maybe we should rename it granny hill. But anyways, just wanted to report that I have never seen this much plaid and snow together in my life. The most frequent version was exactly that style of red with black stripe - plaid pants that Adam was wearing, usually paired with a black ski jacket on top. I presume, the local version cost a little less than Adam's, but that is not the point. The point is, you could find every imaginary and unimaginable color. I saw orange plaid, pink plaid, purple plaid, neon green plaid, on top of every more normal plaid, commonly seen around Scotland. Most sightings were of ski pants, but some wore also plaid jackets.
On a personal note, I can't wait for this fad to be over, sorry Adam, no offense. But I was actually planning of buying a new ski pants on sale at the end of this season and now I have to rethink that, if plaid is all these ski stores are selling off this year. I really don't need a ski pant with the year printed on them, that I don't like to begin with.
Central PA is not exactly fashion forward, and I could not believe how much of this stuff had already found its way to our neck of the woods. I hope, once 2014 goes, it takes this trend with it. Maybe it is the end number? 14 looks a little bit like plaid, right? Please tell me, this fashion trend is limited to one season, please!
And yes, then Adam does not have to wear them anymore either. And that is ok too, I think.
Alright, back to other topics - this cake is developing further and further and is impressive and might I say, busy like a bunny hill now and I have not listened to the Brian interview yet, but clearly work with Adam will continue and Adam is showing up in various person, via music or advertisements or via TV, so I think all is just wonderful in the world of glam and so I'll call it a night and dream of inside edge and plows and bent knees and magic carpets.
