So we have a couple of seconds of Adam allegedly skating. But nothing of Adam with skis anywhere in the picture, much less on his feet. Not surprised "ski week" for him did not include any skiing. BB's really not into sports. As the non athlete in a family of (competitive ) athletes I am SO with Adam on this one. It's one thing to don a pair of skates, the farthest you can fall is on your butt, but to ski?? NO way. And that just wasn't mogel skiing or little hills, that was mountains! I see getting wrapped around a tree, breaking a leg, or worse my neck. Could not pay me to do that. Give me the arts any day. I was an arts kid, not an athlete myself, so I was not faulting Adam in any way. As an adult, a physical therapist pointed out that I have "mixed dominance" meaning I am right-handed, but left-eye dominant, which would make eye-hand coordination a challenge for me. Hence, the difficulty hitting or catching a frickin' ball of any kind. But I digress. You make a very good point. It would be difficult for Adam to be involved in intense forward motion if he were in a full body cast. He just learned that Brian May is okay to tour after a health scare. The last thing Adam would want to do is to endanger that tour because of an attempt at skiing. Actually, Adam's obsession with singing and performing has probably kept him out of many potentially dangerous activities, which is more than fine with me. Concentrate on what you do better than anyone else, Adam. We are (im)patiently waiting. |
