USA Today is speculating (see below) on who should be cast in the title role of NBC's live production of the musical "Peter Pan," and guess who one of the nominees is? (Along with Zac Efron, Darren Criss, Neil Patrick Harris, and Justin Timberlake) www.usatoday.com/story/life/tv/2014/01/19/nbc-peter-pan-amy-poehler-bob-greenblatt/4647921/Actually, I don't like Adam for this role -- not that he wouldn't kill it, like he does everything else -- but it doesn't fit with the direction he and his music are currently going in. Celebrating 5 great years of Glamberthood today! Thank you, Adam, for bringing your light to my world! Adam could totally do this but my vote would go to someone not mentioned. Amy Adams She could be a toally believeable Peter. I think, imho, Adam is too tall and too sexy to be completely convincing. But with Adam you never know. Not lets talk Captain Hook!

Watching a TV program with the captioning on. It said, "Toyota. Moving forward. Choose any direction as long as it's moving forward." Adam says that 2014 is going to involve intense forward motion. Do you think that means he is gonna write and sing a theme song for Toyota and become their official spokesperson? j/k

Celebrating 5 great years of Glamberthood today! Thank you, Adam, for bringing your light to my world! Ha, ha! That is funny! I don't think anyone 6' 1" has ever played Peter. But the thought of Adam in tights is definitely appealing! But Captain Hook would work! It's hard to imagine Adam as "the boy who wouldn't grow up". There's nothing adolescent about Adam. But Captain Hook would be fun. In fact, most of the guys suggested in the USA Today video are too old, like Neil Patrick Harris and Justin Timberlake. But NBC is going to want a big star to pull in the ratings. So if NBC goes with a younger guy to play Peter, I think they would cast a teen heartthrob like Josh Hutcherson from "The Hunger Games" movies (if he can sing), or maybe even one of the members of One Direction. My niece would be glued to the TV if Harry Styles was Peter. Lol. And then they can fill out the rest of the cast with Broadway veterans, like they did with "The Sound of Music". But hopefully this time they will pick someone with acting skills to play the lead role.

You know who would be really great in that role....CHEEKS....he would do an amazing job and be down right perfect!! Peter Pan is very elfin and Cheeks--definitely one of Adam's "Pretty Androgynous Elves"--would absolutely fit the role physically. Makes me think of that line in Husbands when Brady says, "You've played everything from an elf to a...Christmas elf." I don't know if he can sing well enough to carry it off, though, but maybe he would surprise me. He sure would be cute in the outfit!
