I'm ashamed to admit that the first time I saw/heard Adam I didn't pay much attention. /o\ idol was on in the background and they were singing don't stop believing and I looked up from my book briefly and thought, huh, that goth kid is good.
And that was it until a week before the s8 finale when I was procrastinating at work and surfing through EW.com and came across the idol recaps... And then I was enthralled; and lost! This man has occupied my mind and heart and imagination for getting close to 5 years. I simply can't believe it...my daughter was only 4 when my infatuation with Adam started and she's turning 9 soon!

Chapf just put me on the cake! I'm reading a book, because when the world around me is noisy and chaotic, I always want to be home reading a book. The party looks like fun, but I'm really not one to party. I'm not even that crazy about using the word "party" as a verb.
I am ridiculously thrilled right now and grinning from ear to ear. Many thanks to our amazing Smiley Picasso!

WOW!!!!! Five years of ADAM. Hard to believe. Thanks Adam for waking me up and connecting back to world and myself. I don't know why or how you did it, but you did. Life is amazing and wonderful and full. People, especially people at ATOP ..... I can't even come up with the words. When you are younger you have so many dreams and so much hope. Life sometime makes you forget and you become so pragmatic. Somehow a person, a voice, reminds you of all the possibilities and BAM!!!, the wonder of it all begins again.
Five wonderful years. Sparks, imagination, big bang 2.

Same here. My jaw was dropping for the entire performance. A lot of people commented on the sensuality of it, but I didn't even notice that. I was just listening to the singing. Hahaha. You and me both, Holst. I didn't even notice the shirt lift. I was just so enthralled by the voice and the interpretation. Why does your response NOT surprise me. 8-) |
