1.22.14 Adam News and Info

Had to delurk.  I just had a wild moment, and needed to share.  I totally fell in love with that song, Wildest Moments, when Adam tweeted about it a while back.  But I hadn't listened to it in ages.  Then this afternoon I was working on something and playing music in the background, and I remembered that song and decided to play it, and just when it started the phone rang and I had to stop the music to pick it up, and then go deal with something else, and one thing, and another, and I never got back to playing the rest of the song.  It's still sitting there open, paused, frozen 17 seconds in on my iTunes on this computer.  So all evening, you know when your brain is just missing something, something feels unfinished, like when you forget a word or something and you're half distracted the rest of the night with your brain trying to fill in that blank space?  Well, I must have some kind of cosmic connection with Adam or something, because here he is, filling in my blank space (durrrr...that sounded way dirtier than I meant it!).  No, seriously, though, when I saw these instagrams, heard that lovely, sweet, resonant, personal voice singing those lines, I just had one of those moments where I felt like, damn, that guy singing is just so damn emotionally satisfying, you know?  Does he know me or something?  How does he do that?  I felt like Adam was singing just for me, had sent it out just for me, you know?  And then I thought, but that's how we all feel all the time.  SO thanks for all the wild moments, Adam.


ETA: guys, you and twitter can quit your ninja-ing.  He tweeted it out now for me!   What?  Too self-centered an analysis?
