Chapf, I wanted to tell you that you have done a wonderful job with the birthday cake, and getting so many smilies representing so many ATOPers is an imaginative feat. This is a testimony to your artistry. Adam will be pleased!!! I guess I am feeling a little glum, since I will hit 65 shortly, and I was wishing I could be Adam's age again. It amazes me that he such insight, and lives his life unapolagetically, and lives it to the fullest, and enjoys each day as if it were his last. I wish I had been so wise at his age.  |

I love that house, but I'd be worried about being amongst all those trees in Los Angeles. Southern California is in the midst of a horrible drought and I clearly remember living in San Diego in 2003 when there were such terrible fires. I lived downtown, so I wasn't directly affected, but a lot of people lost homes, there was ash everywhere, and the sun was a weird neon pink color for days.

Wanted to bring this over from yesterday's thread as I think it is exactly what Adam meant!  Ahh:) I saw it yesterday and thought 'but of course'. When will I ever learn:) To cut myself some slack, I spent only 30 minutes or so fantasizing about possible meanings in my head, none of them correct, of course. See, it's getting better, lol:) |

The news that Adam is house hunting is now all over the internet. My google alert has informed me of multiple articles about it. Poor guy. But, at least the other Adam news item, that he earned $5 million last year, means he can afford to buy a house in Hollywood. This article was interesting for a couple of reasons. First, check out the headline. He is not "American Idol winner" or "runner-up". He is not "openly gay singer Adam Lambert". He is "Glee's Adam Lambert." They also got in a snide comment about his "real estate agent mommy." What was that discussion we had several days ago about how agents treat each other? Hmmmm. Finally, the article then turns into a discussion about Adam singing and maybe touring with Queen this year, and includes some nice Brian May quotes. All in all, a very strange article. But, hey, it is good publicity. Better than articles about him egging his neighbor's house or spending $75,000 at a strip club. The house looks a little bit old fashioned to me, but I guess Adam would take out all that furniture and carpets. It looks cozy and comfortable, though, and well secured. And I love the greenery! But if there is danger from trees catching fire from sunshine alone, I wouldn't want him to live in such house.
