glamtealady don't know if you can help me but I use to be able to download all music to itunes library and then to my iPod. I'm not sure when this started to happen but I can download music to my itunes library but it won't transfer to my ipod, only the ones that I purchased from itunes. If there is anyone here who might know why this is happening I would appreciate a response. Oh, I did an update a little while ago on my ipod and am not sure if this is when it all started. Thanks Sometimes I have to right click on the song and convert to mp3 format in iTunes . That usually works. Irenerose, I may be able to help if you can answer the following questions: 1) What is the type and model number of your iPod? 2) Are the files that you are downloading from the iTunes store, or from somewhere else on the internet? 3) Is the PC you are downloading to a Mac or Windows PC? 4) What version of iTunes are you using? 5) In iTunes, right click on one of the songs that will not transfer, choose "Get Info". At the bottom of the "Summary" tab, after "Where", what is the file type, i.e., what are the last 3 letters following the ".". Questions 1 & 5 are the most important. |
