Adam was still tied to RCA for almost the whole time period in question. Remember, this is from June 2012 to June 2013. Don't know why Forbes does their lists that way, but they do! Weird! The biggest difference would be 6 months without 19R and completely free of 19M. Although, I am guessing the original contracts for FYE & Trespassing would have still been affect since they were recorded while under contract to them. The big thing for Scotty is that I think Forbes might be figuring concert $$ and Scotty has not been a solo act for very many concerts. He opened for many of his concerts & don't think openers get very much out of the revenue there. P2, for example did a slew of shows with John Mayer and yet tied with Adam who did about a fraction of that! Anyway, my thoughts on that!  |
