dancygeorgia I think there is a misunderstanding about the problem I am having. I know I used the Windstar download as an example but the problem is that my ipod is not downloading anything that I get off the internet, I'm not sure exactly when this started. I have always been able to download from kind people like u or from the internet and have no trouble getting it on my ipod. It downloads into my itunes library but not onto my ipod. Never had this problem before and it seems it only started recently. I want to thank you for taking the time and trouble to help. Do you have an Apple iPod? Once I accidentally deleted all my iTunes DL's and I went to their store and they put them all back on for me. They would probably help you figure out what was happening to you and work you through it. Take your computer and iPod with you and I think they would be glad to help you. I have a PC not a Mac but they didn't mind since I had their Classic iPod. It might be worth a try since you think the problem started when you downloaded the iTunes updates. I hope that helps. Yes I have the ipod touch 5 but I don't have a lap top so I can't take my computer with me. Thanks adamrocks for the suggestion I might stop in at the store anyway and see if they can shed some light on my situation.

Oh, duh, I have that song in my iTunes, one of the few non-Adam songs I've bought in the past couple of years. Heard it when we still subscribed to SiriusXM in our new truck. Great song!

I got to see ZZ Ward perform live last year in SF (Great American Music Hall) because of Adam! (When I had the amazing experience of seeing Adam Live in the Vineyard in 2012, discovered another band that performed there: Delta Rae, went to see Delta Rae in SF and ZZ Ward opened for them). She was very good, it was difficult to decide what genre her music was (kind of like Adam at times), live performance from that night:

I liked the ZZ Ward song. It's a little bluesy and you can certainly hear the Adele influence in the phrasing and pronunciation. It's often possible to identify the decade of unknown songs based on certain phrasing and pronunciations. In the future, the late 00s and early 10s will continue to shows traces of Adele, she is unique.
I believe that A3 will be Adam's time to completely identify his unique sound. A1 was a rush but there were hints and Trespassing was the pop/dance album that he always wanted to make but he still had not shed the perfection needed for musical theatre (he can always go back, it won't be unlearned) where it is about being true to the song and not the artist. I am hoping that A3 will be the album where his talent and uniqueness combine to give us an Adam decade identifier. I think I am going to be very surprised by A3, I can't tease out the hints from his concert explorations of his existing music but I am sure it is there. How he sings them now must be influenced by what he is currently producing but what it will be, I don't know. My best guess right now is bluesy, sexy, emotional, and intense.

I hope Adam writes (or has written whatever the case may be) music with Bonnie McKee for his new album!
ETA: Also Pharrell and Max Martin (who worked extensively on Katy Perry's recent album) - want a couple radio hits there! Also hope he gets to work with anyone and everyone that HE wants to work with!
