I know it is not 'cool' on this forum, to like Idol [oddly enough] but seriously, this years auditions are being handled the best I have seen and the show is definitely on the right track to regain its crown.
For beginners, the contestants are featured so much more than on any of the other shows, and the talent put thru so far, is really good.
just saying... It kicks the last few seasons ass, big time.....

Totally agree -- I was just telling my DH at dinner tonight how much better Idol is this year -- really good contestants, very few "silly/stupid" acts, and I'm enjoying the judging too. |

I am so far behind. Was Adam at Idol? Yeah he was their as part of Randy's Workshop, possibly maybe mentoring. |

Q3 there is going to be an Idol workshop for the contestants that will be headed by Randy. Chris Daughtry posted a pic of Adam and him being at Idol today. Randy Jackson may have left the judges' table, but the producers are building up a whole different part of the show for him to highlight his mentoring. Between Hollywood Week and the live shows, "Randy is going to be hosting a two-day workshop," Kinane explained. During that time, the singers will go through extra education to work on song selection, their images and styles as artists, how to deal with emotional pressure and more aspects of performance.
