I think, Adam was more interested in the halftime show with Bruno Mars and the commercials. I know I was. Bruno was lip synching, as none of the guitars were hooked up and it was all precanned. Bruno is just too nasally for me for me to appreciate.. I need pureness...and unfortunately I hold a grudge. He skyrocketed, while Adam languished due to radio play. Did Bruno do a good job....yes he did and his 50's look is cool.
ETA: Maybe I should have said the commercial success Bruno has carnered along with the radio play. Adam has had success, but not to the degree of Bruno. For Christ's sake Bruno got a grammy for his album. Adam's was significantly better. Just my rumblings. Already been pounced on, but these are my thoughts. I don't understand begrudging another artist success simply because one feels Adam "should be" more successful. It just feels out of place within the fandom of a man who embraces everyone and shows such grace and humility about his own journey.

But some of us can't help feeling frustrated when we see other artists get radio play and high-profile opportunities when their talent, while considerable, is dimmed by Adam's. Call us petty if you will, but we're entitled to our feelings and I for one don't apologize for mine.

As much as I would like to be the better person I'm not, I too have bad memories about Bruno. Could also be related to the fact I don't care much for his music. While it certainly was not his fault the politics of events like this leaves a bad taste in my mouth. One of the best parts of Adamtopia is we don't have to always have our public faces on, we can let out our grievances at will!! YMMV
