Anyone else get the feeling that the album for all extents and purposes is done. At least I think Adam's part is. It may need to go into production or whatever they do an album to get it ready for the market. Looks like Adam's plate is rather full right now and the timing would be great if he had finished or almost finished the album in 2013. When I talk about Adam to a lot of people he is still AI and loved but they don't know what he has been up to with the exception of WWFM. Glee, AI etc would bring him to the average persons attention and sure make selling that album easier, let alone give us a nice tour next spring? And how about that Queen tour? I'm sure it will be well advertised! I suspect with see 10% of Adam's work schedule. Even going to the superbowl party I think was work! I do not think the album in done but I do agree that Adam's plate is full right now. I agree with you and think that many of these "social" events have been networking event, including the superbowl party. A Queen + Adam Lambert 8 concert mini-tour in major markets (as rumored), then it will generate a lot of press and opportunities to promote his music. Very few artists have this kind of opportunity to promote their music. Queen proved in Las Vegas that they can still pull off a big show. And Adam proved he was worthy of the equal billing he got. I expect the promotion will look something like this when we get all the pieces: (I could be way wrong but....) Idol - mentoring 2/18-19 and maybe 2/20. Glee 2/25, 3/4, 4/1 (+more?) RuPaul March or AprilNew single (April or May)Something else on VH1/MTV (my guess) Two or three big talk show appearances (April, May)

Prime time debut of Adam's new single - Idol or The Voice or ?Some Adam Lambert concertsQueen+Adam Lambert mini tour Summer 2014Big performance -- maybe the MTV Video Music Awards Sunday, August 24.

Have they said that Camp Dawg is going to be the 18th and 19th? It is the only thing that fits but I think it is unconfirmed if there with be any of Camp Dawg on the 20th. They have to do something to make that results show more than just a reveal. .... Rush Week: Idol producers apparently listened to viewer feedback about losing patience with the drawn-out middle rounds and are condensing it all into one week, dubbed Rush Week. Over the course of three nights (Feb. 18-20), the Top 15 female contestants will learn their fates, then the Top 15 male contestants, and finally we'll meet the Top 3 finalists in the first live results show in Los Angeles.

Randy Jackson may have left the judges' table, but the producers are building up a whole different part of the show for him to highlight his mentoring. Between Hollywood Week and the live shows, "Randy is going to be hosting a two-day workshop," Kinane explained. During that time, the singers will go through extra education to work on song selection, their images and styles as artists, how to deal with emotional pressure and more aspects of performance. "Randy is very much putting this together, and that will carry through to the live shows," Kinane said..... Because I LOVE figure skating as much as I love Adam!! I will be putting up a figure skating thread in the Adamtopia salon on Friday -- before it all starts! I have a feeling the men's competition will be one for the ages this year. *cough* Patrick Chan *cough*  |
