Re Q3's reference to Figure Skating and in case you didn't know: For those of you in the US and interested in a specific sport - you can watch LIVE here: stream.nbcolympics.com/They are going to stream ALL events LIVE, you need to have a cable provider to sing up (free). I am planning to see as much Figure Skating as time allows live, as I hate the severely edited and selected prime time coverage. Because I LOVE figure skating as much as I love Adam!! I will be putting up a figure skating thread in the Adamtopia salon on Friday -- before it all starts! I have a feeling the men's competition will be one for the ages this year. Q3.. I'm exhausted from digging out my car with DS...so sick of this winter....  I'm soaking wet, my hands and feet are numb from standing in 6" of slushy water...and yet my shirt is damp from perspiration.....groan....but we got the car out, and I came in to see if there was any news........    and there is news!! Ok, a little more detail on Elliott and Kurt's duet....but I'll take it! YAY! And seeing the list of so many opportunities to see Adam on my big screen TV coming up is making me forget how freaking tired I am right now! Gonna go pop a few Advil before the aches and pains find me......but I'll be smiling because I believe we are over the hump of this long dry spell with little/no news!!!.  #StillhopeJackFrostfreezeshissnowballsoff #ihatewintercanyoutell? A month ago I was gloating about our weather but now I feel so sorry for you all!  |

Finally some definite dates to add to the calendar. However, isn't Idol on Wed and Thursdays? That would be the 19th and 20th? Have they said that Camp Dawg is going to be the 18th and 19th? It is the only thing that fits but I think it is unconfirmed if there with be any of Camp Dawg on the 20th. They have to do something to make that results show more than just a reveal. Here is what TV Guide Reported -- Camp Dawg? Randy Jackson may have left the judges' table, but the producers are building up a whole different part of the show for him to highlight his mentoring. Between Hollywood Week and the live shows, "Randy is going to be hosting a two-day workshop," Kinane explained. During that time, the singers will go through extra education to work on song selection, their images and styles as artists, how to deal with emotional pressure and more aspects of performance. "Randy is very much putting this together, and that will carry through to the live shows," Kinane said..... Rush Week: Idol producers apparently listened to viewer feedback about losing patience with the drawn-out middle rounds and are condensing it all into one week, dubbed Rush Week. Over the course of three nights (Feb. 18-20), the Top 15 female contestants will learn their fates, then the Top 15 male contestants, and finally we'll meet the Top 3 [SIC, this should say Top 13] finalists in the first live results show in Los Angeles.

Although I think they may do something with Chris and Adam on all three episodes that week -- and left the dates 18-20. The result show on the 20th will be revealing the top 10 that got the public's votes. It will be very dramatic. 21 cuts!! Plus, each judge will pick a wild card & I am sure there will be sing offs for that. It will take up the whole time. I think besides helping the contestants, the purpose of boot camp is to get to know those 31 for voting on Tues & Wed. I see no point in showing it on Thursday. I wonder if the mentors might be in the audience Thursday? |

We won't even recognize this bland little number when Adam SINGS! IT! - I so agree! To me this version sounds cute - pretty sure when Adam gets done with it, it will ROCK! Can't wait!  |

We only got about 4 inches today. I guess we might get a big snow later this week. We'll see. There has been huge snowfalls N, S, E and W of me but not where I am -- all winter. ** This year has been worse in the NY-DC corridor than the Winter of 1978. Hard to believe that could be beaten, but it has been blown away! ETA: Adam is going to rip-up-the-house with "Rockstar". Much better choice than WTFox. And we get Kurt too. It will make a nice duet. |

Someone on the previous page asked why it is 31 instead of 30 for the Idol semi-finalist. Because for some reason they picked 15 girls but 16 boys. I am sure it was to create drama. Judges trying to choose between 2 and end up picking both! So it is 219 to 31 to 10, then judges add 3 Wild Cards for 13 going into the finals.

As a west coaster I do feel very sorry for those who are getting hit hard by this winter weather. |
