I brought this over from last night's thread.
Whoops... what you get when you are not totally focussing on the words....and fast speaking commentators--- Is WRONG information!  Re DAFT PUNK MUSIC at the ceremony. Just re watching the opening ceremonies while clearing up dinner stuff--- The commentators in the pre- show commented on how they were interested in hearing Daft Punk in the ceremony....but it turns out Jian Gomeshi (who interviewed Adam on his radio CBC interview) was disappointed the Daft Punk music was used in the PRE-CEREMONY performance....so it would not be broadcast. Cool that they were excited to figure out how the music was going to be used. Well .....DAFT PUNK at least got shout outs on our national tv....before and during the ceremony.  No wonder I did not recognize it when they were talking about it near the end of the opening ceremony. HERE IS A PERFORMANCE OF THIS RUSSIAN POLICE DOING DAFT PUNK, GET LUCKY. PRETTY LULZZY CONSIDERING IT IS RUSSIA

OT I know....but as it's very quiet....and because it's something happy...
Adam's friend Cassidy Haley got engaged to be married on NYE....(according to his twitter)....to a very beautiful girl called Jillian Ann. Sounds like they have a long personal and professional connection.....Awwww! I wish them well.
Edit: I'm so glad Melvin will make an appearance on Glee...however brief.....( sorry Katycake!)
