I brought this over from last night's thread.
Whoops... what you get when you are not totally focussing on the words....and fast speaking commentators--- Is WRONG information!  Re DAFT PUNK MUSIC at the ceremony. Just re watching the opening ceremonies while clearing up dinner stuff--- The commentators in the pre- show commented on how they were interested in hearing Daft Punk in the ceremony....but it turns out Jian Gomeshi (who interviewed Adam on his radio CBC interview) was disappointed the Daft Punk music was used in the PRE-CEREMONY performance....so it would not be broadcast. Cool that they were excited to figure out how the music was going to be used. Well .....DAFT PUNK at least got shout outs on our national tv....before and during the ceremony.  No wonder I did not recognize it when they were talking about it near the end of the opening ceremony. HERE IS A PERFORMANCE OF THIS RUSSIAN POLICE DOING DAFT PUNK, GET LUCKY. PRETTY LULZZY CONSIDERING IT IS RUSSIA

Other comments wondering why people are calling it gay (lots of different cultures are watching it). Maybe it's part of the storyline . LOL !! Really , there might be a storyline there somewhere . . . My thought of the moment - but it will probably change as soon as I watch the next episode: Kurt and Blaine both fall in love with Elliott, but Elliott rides off into the sunset (other obligations) and Kurt and Blaine realize it is just too early in their lives to be engaged/married...   I Love It!!!!! |

I seriously think they consulted the wrong dictionary ...the Rural rather than the Urban Dictionary...for the meaning of "Get Lucky".... too funny....and they are too serious..lololololol |

I wondered if it was a joke/whether it happened or not, based on the video above...That group had obviously been practicing/performing that piece for some time! The youtube with 4, 300,000 plus views was posted in Nov 2013. First impression: Chris = Babe in the Woods ... Adam (playing the role) = having a helluva good time with this character! Will he follow up this expression with a sweet boy next door laugh? And regarding the "Rockstar" song - he doesn't look very bubblegum here. |
