I forgot to bookmark the skating thread that Q3 set up but just wanted to say that Johnny Weir is looking very sparkly for the men's free skate. Adam related because I think he would really like that jacket for a special occasion. The necklace looks pretty good, too. Johnny is also a very good commentator.
I found this weeks AI Top 15 boys and girls to be excruciatingly long drawn out and am hoping that won't put people off who came back to the show after the enjoyable auditions. I'm hoping for lots of mentoring time and singing and very little judges repeating themselves and milking emotional contestant faces for all it's worth.
I've also lost respect for the judges in that they put through that 15 year old guy who plays a guitar but can't sing in tune and sent home far more worthy singers. Perhaps they put him through so they could make a popular cut next week?

Exactly .....What the heck!!! I was cringing when I heard him...shocked he got through.
Gotta get their Drama in!!! It is a requirement of a reality TV program! ...All that talk and putting feelings through the wringer is a slow process...BORING and predictable. But I have no suggestions for implementing drama in a "jazzier/speedier" way....I will think on that.
Doing sing offs ...does it really change what they think??? I had mixed feelings about that... not keen on the process for the poor contestants ....yet I liked hearing the singers one last time.
Voting by the public at this point for the last two men .....to me.... is not risky for the judges as they would have to be happy with either person or they would not have the choice made by a vote. I guess just more drama.... more voice in the choice ...drawing the audience in.
Visually with the lighting the blue and black look gives the show a more polished feel. The band, staging and lighting changes are good production changes.

I'm having so much fun, I'm watching Raja's season of RuPaul's Drag Race online for the first time ever. So far I've only managed to watch the first 2 episodes - introducing the queens, where they show Adam talking about Raja for a few seconds, and the 1st episode of the actual competition, when Raja wins the challenge AND the runway!! Anyway, Vanessa Williams was the guest judge, and the bottom two lip-synced to her song. So do you think, when Adam's a judge, they'll lip-sync WWFM?!?
