Just found a few international box office figures for Queen + Paul Rodgers:
Sportspaleis Antwerp 13,043 / 15,719 (83%) $1,018,028
O2 Arena London 18,687 / 18,687 (100%) $1,294,847
Via Funchal São Paulo 8,860 / 10,000 (89%) $1,006,163
HSBC Arena Rio de Janeiro 6,472 / 9,100 (71%) $364,528
In addition to the US dates, London might be a good bet - it's been 2 years since their last appearance, so they might be deemed ready for another concert. Antwerp had very nice box office for Q+PR in 2008. Not exactly central but on the continent. They also played in 4-5 German cities and a lot of German fans were at the 2012 UK concert. Perhaps they have a big enough fan base there? They had 4 dates in Japan in 2008. Could be a good bet for a concert.

I was talking about the "New" Queen concert with Adam and possibly new Queen music/album.
I realize that any change in Queen sound would be a sacrilege, however, I am not in that camp.
New is exciting and could be amazing.
I like to see talented humans working together - artists where the art is the most important thing, not the money. I said it was a musing --- that is close to a hope, a dream.

Earlier there was an indication that Adam's band was rehearsing for a summer tour. Sadly, that is not the case. The calendar has been left open, by design or otherwise, for all the terrific opportunities Adam has ahead including the upcoming Queen tour, not yet finalized. So what do the band members do when Adam is not touring with his own band? It's a real dilemma because the band earns their paycheck when they are actively rehearsing or performing. It puts the band members in a position where they have to find another gig to pay the bills.
Although the band was rehearsing on January 22 and coincidently had the opportunity to meet Sir Paul McCartney, it was for a private event. The event was cancelled at the last minute even while the band was at the airport. I'm sure you can recall the picture Ashley posted on Instagram of her bass and amp clearing security. There was a bit of a scramble to get luggage back but it all worked out.
At the end of January, there was an opportunity to audition for another well known artist looking to refresh his band. Adam's bassist received a call to try out at the audition. As you can imagine, there was a huge response as all instruments were involved. A bit of a cattle call. Not American Idol numbers, but a significant daunting number nonetheless. After the first day, round one, it became clear at the beginning of day two, the band was going to be made up of all female musicians. After a rigorous day competing for another four rounds involving some hugely talented ladies, the music director had enough information to make his/their selection. They chose Ashley Dzerigian. So... Ceelo Green has a new bassist. Now this forum can be critical at times about the band, but Ashley has the goods to compete with the very best, and win!!!
I had a chance to watch Ceelo Green perform at a familiar venue to all of us at Fantasy Springs in Indio this past Saturday. The show and Ceelo were very entertaining. That's what I expected. The band was awesome. Ashley was gracious enough to outline this experience with me when I had a chance to meet her after the show.
So while Adam remains her priority, Ashley will be working. Ceelo Green will be on tour as the guest star of Lionel Richie from May 29 through August 3 across the US and Canada.

Are you saying that Adam and his band had a private event scheduled that was cancelled at the last minute recently? And Ashley told you about this herself? If that is the case, what a mess that must have been! And does this mean we may never hear a full version of Adam singing the Jessie Ware song??? :( |

It certainly created a mess. The crew was already at the venue the day before for setup. So it was a wrinkle that Adam's management team handled. It's what they do very well.
I'm unaware of any impact this May have had regarding a full version of the Jessie Ware song. They are completely separate issues.
