Thump. Thump. Thump. Another One Bites the Dust! Oregon will enforce — but not defend — the state’s same-sex marriage ban, the attorney general said Thursday, noting that the prohibition could not “withstand a federal constitutional challenge under any standard of review.”
Attorney General Ellen Rosenblum made the remarks in response to litigation seeking the right for gays and lesbians to wed in Oregon. Attorneys general in Virginia, Nevada and Pennsylvania have taken the same stance against their state bans in the last year.
Two Oregon couples filed the lawsuit last December challenging the state’s constitutional amendment prohibiting same-sex marriage, one of dozens of lawsuits challenging such bans across the country since the Supreme Court ruled in favor of gay rights last summer.
The state “will not defend the Oregon ban on same-sex marriage in this litigation,” Rosenblum wrote in a court filing in response to the litigation. Rather, the position the state will take is “that the ban cannot withstand a federal constitutional challenge under any standard of review.' In the meantime, the state is “legally obligated to enforce the Oregon Constitution’s ban on same-sex marriage.””

[br No angst. In fact love that Adam embraces his idol family and continues to acknowledge the major boost to his career. I was just musing while drinking my first cuppa tea. And, adam did break idol for me. I am continually amazed at your in depth and logical explanations of the music lndustry. As a side note, i've typed out this entire message with my thumbs!What!?!? Are you 20 yrs old or something?  I'm a touch typist and I just can't get myself to use the iPad much I've been given for work. It feels like I'm in slow motion. So . . . congratulations to you? Months of frustration went into that boast  |

And as usual, the man stares directly at the camera and magically fights off red eye reflection. Is there some physiological ability that prevents the flash from reaching inside his eye, or does it reflect in a different direction? |

Yay!!! Glad to hear Iridium & Melliemom got their prints too!   MyS*&@^#r - BOOOOO I don't understand why you don't have yours yet....  It will be there tomorrow tomorrow tomorrow - PLEASE! Melliemom - WOW you've already been to the frame shop??!! When are you getting the finished product? What kind of frame did you pick out? I'm still studying & thinking about the frame & matting to use. Maybe charcoal & turquoise? Don't know yet! Can't wait to see everyone's else's choices. It's gonna cost some $ to have it framed right - have to dip into my QAL fund a little bit, but I want to see it hanging on the wall! I've been blissfully happy to see Adam on Idol for the past 2 nights & getting this print has been a bonus! What a great week!  Well, Mys*&@^#r's and my print must be on the same snail. I think we both ordered at midnight. I looked all around my mailbox and nothing. 
ETA: Nevermind. Mys*&@^#r just got her print. Where the heck is mine???????
