I know this isn’t news to readers of TheBacklot, but it must be stated: Adam Lambert, who again appeared as a guest mentor alongside the world’s most famous connoisseur of parabolic sideburns Mr. Chris Daughtry, really looks fantastic. His look is both mature and boyish, and he has a straightforward, but coolly self-aware vibe. He’s enigmatic too. Wouldn’t be surprised if he just leaned over to random contestants and whispered, “I’m a magician.” The glint in his eye is super shiny, and I associate that quality with the dark arts. Frightening. He’s probably a serious, possessed top. Not kidding. I can tell.

OT but can I just vent my total disgust of Photobucket!! WTF?!!!! I open it up and the first 13 pages are not there and to get them I have to go to recent downloads and it won't let me link them anywhere. Then, to get any pics past page 13, I have to open the Library that continues my pics from page 13 and that's the only ones I can link anymore!  WTF is going on here......  !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry I just had to get my frustrations out. Did this happen to anyone else? |

Just took my Aquarius Wolf in to get custom framed. I liked 3 different styles. One was $244, 2nd was $319, 3rd was $430. There wasn't a big enough difference in the styling of 1 & 2 to go the extra $80. The 3rd was gorgeous, but didn't want to spend that much, so $244 it is! There is just enough under Adam's signature for them to be able to mat it!  Aubergine mat with a brushed silver frame! Now I have to wait about 10 days to get it back!  Oh, my print is #94 of 300! BTW, the print, including the white border, is 22 x 22. Amazon has a 22 x 22 frame in case you don't want to spend the $$ on custom framing. |

Yay!!! Glad to hear Iridium & Melliemom got their prints too!   MyS*&@^#r - BOOOOO I don't understand why you don't have yours yet....  It will be there tomorrow tomorrow tomorrow - PLEASE! Melliemom - WOW you've already been to the frame shop??!! When are you getting the finished product? What kind of frame did you pick out? I'm still studying & thinking about the frame & matting to use. Maybe charcoal & turquoise? Don't know yet! Can't wait to see everyone's else's choices. It's gonna cost some $ to have it framed right - have to dip into my QAL fund a little bit, but I want to see it hanging on the wall! I've been blissfully happy to see Adam on Idol for the past 2 nights & getting this print has been a bonus! What a great week!  Well, Mys*&@^#r's and my print must be on the same snail. I think we both ordered at midnight. I looked all around my mailbox and nothing. 
ETA: Nevermind. Mys*&@^#r just got her print. Where the heck is mine???????
Ok so I went to the framing shop and couldn't make up my mind what to do.. Basically I took the advice of the owner.. Adam's signature at the bottom makes it hard to have a mat.. But I was told it would be close but could be done.. So I went with a white mat and a black wooden frame.. two inches of matting showing & frame is about an inch in width.I didn't want to take attention away from the beautiful coloring of the print,It almost seems iridescent.It should be finished in a week. Gosh I hope I like how it comes out..My cost was $160.. but this is Asheville and I'm being very conservative. |
