Yay!!! Glad to hear Iridium & Melliemom got their prints too!   MyS*&@^#r - BOOOOO I don't understand why you don't have yours yet....  It will be there tomorrow tomorrow tomorrow - PLEASE! Melliemom - WOW you've already been to the frame shop??!! When are you getting the finished product? What kind of frame did you pick out? I'm still studying & thinking about the frame & matting to use. Maybe charcoal & turquoise? Don't know yet! Can't wait to see everyone's else's choices. It's gonna cost some $ to have it framed right - have to dip into my QAL fund a little bit, but I want to see it hanging on the wall! I've been blissfully happy to see Adam on Idol for the past 2 nights & getting this print has been a bonus! What a great week!  Well, Mys*&@^#r's and my print must be on the same snail. I think we both ordered at midnight. I looked all around my mailbox and nothing. 
ETA: Nevermind. Mys*&@^#r just got her print. Where the heck is mine???????
Does anyone know if the prints are coming by US Mail, UPS, or FedEx? I'm actually glad mine did not come today as it rained heavily. And UPS has been leaving packages where they would be ruined by the rain since they don't want to leave packages at the front door anymore. |

Things that make you go mmmmm. Since Adam's name is not mentioned in this article, I can think of two things. His contract was different or he used this as tool to get out of his contract with RCA by agreeing not to participate in the suit. Or it could be anything else!! I read the filing and Adam is not one of the "artists" who is a party to this suit. The "artists" are Kelly, Clay, Carrie, Kellie Pickler, Daughtry (including the band members), Jordin, Cook and Archie. There is nothing in this lawsuit (based on what is reported) that would enable anyone to get out of a recording contract. Unfortunately, there are many, many similar lawsuits by artist vs. their labels over royalty accounting. The difference with Idol is that there is another entity involved (19 Recordings). ** I can think of several reasons that Adam is not involved, but most likely 19 Recordings has no issues with the accounting for the FYE and Trespassing projects. |
