I have looked at the latest Glee clip over and over and...... While the main reason is to see Elliott, I had another motive that I am embarrassed to admit: For the life of me, I cannot figure out what Kurt and Elliott are saying! I think Kurt is talking about his fiancé acting like a child But when Elliott is onscreen, who btw is obviously trying to beat Kurt in speed-talking .....his words just fly by and I can't make sense of any of it! So somebody, puhleeeeze...take pity on someone who is paying the price for attending that Iron Butterfly concert back in the day..... And tell me what they are saying!?!? Broad meaning from memory: Adam says 'everybody brings his own input to the mix' and I guess he's talking about the band. Kurt says 'what Beyonce said just before she left Destiny's Child'.
ETA ... and I agree with you, on Glee they really are talking fast and it's difficult to understand. Their articulation (and way of speaking) is not the clearest one and on the other hand the lines are full of references and witty snarks using concepts and names I have no idea of.
Is Adam telling here that he leaves the band (facial expressions) and that there'll be inevitable changes how the band works, the material chosen etc.? The words (whatever they exactly are) sound to me like discussing the direction of the band and that it's important to take account all member's strengths to form a good package. But Kurt seems a bit discouraged and sad.
Thanks for your ETA about the fast chatter....makes me feel a little better! And I agree about Kurt looking down....... If Santana is going to be under study for Rachel, who is supposed to be starring on Broadway..... How can they be active members of Angela L? So perhaps Elliott is looking around for a better gig....or someone discovers him...... Whatever the outcome, we know it will be great fun to watch!

Somehow in Glee they manage to do everything at the same time . . dunno . . Elliott looks very umm , attached to the band ? (is that the word ?) In "puppet master" he said "I'm not gonna let Kurt disband pamela lansbury" , and , in this episode he's telling kurt how everyone is bringing his own essential spice to the band , and , in "Trio" , he's gonna be the peacemaker for santana and rachel . . I don't know , he's like a an angel , he just needs wings , LOL !!

I find myself wanting to know the results of the last two nights of Idol - oh, oh. One thought I had this a.m. about my thoughts on "Adam broke Idol". Well, yes he did but Idol could have recovered from that fiasco (whether true or false) by putting the limited votes per contestant in place at that point. Whether or not the voting was skewed the perception is that it was skewed. I know for me that I never got through and I was using three phones and had never had trouble in the past. Of course, I just thought that Adam's lines were busy as heck and went to bed thinking GREAT! his lines were busy all through the night. (Perhaps that was another reason why it was such a shock to hear the other guys name!) In any case, it seems that Idol then loaded the program up with WGWG because after all a WGWG beat Adam Lambert and so that must be what America is wanting never acknowledging for a moment that MAYBE there was a flaw somewhere in the process. When I'm thinking rationally, I think Gokey went home and his votes went to Allen but when I'm thinking emotionally I question that logic because of the excitement and roar of the audience when Adam appeared on stage during the Idol 8 summer tour. Don't really care anymore but still have difficulty watching the few minutes of the season 8 finale. Too invested? Oh, yeah. It is such old history and Adam seems to have left it behind. I think we probably should leave it behind too. JMHO Adam didn't break Idol -- that is something Adam fans like to say. Ratings have been declining since the peak in AI5 (2006) -- 3 seasons before Adam. They leveled off a bit for AI8 because there was a TV writers' strike that Spring and Idol had no competition. But just plot the ratings and you'll see that the fluke was AI7. >> TV shows have a natural lifecycle and Idol is no different. >> Network TV is struggling in general and Idol is not immune. There was no way Idol could limit text votes while AT&T was a sponsor. I am convinced that Kris would have won with phone voice votes alone. (And I spent way too long looking at this.) A WGWG has won Idol every year since they allowed instruments - except last year when they rigged the show. Cook, Kris, Lee, Scotty, P2, AI 12 was the exception with Candice (they probably wish they had a WGWG from season 12 now), and AI 13 will probably be another WGWG (and they have a few but I think it will be Sam or Alex). ** In any case, there is toooooo much gooooood stuff happening for Adam to care about what happened 5 years ago.

[br No angst. In fact love that Adam embraces his idol family and continues to acknowledge the major boost to his career. I was just musing while drinking my first cuppa tea. And, adam did break idol for me. I am continually amazed at your in depth and logical explanations of the music lndustry. As a side note, i've typed out this entire message with my thumbs!

Ok, maybe this is when they come back from the guitar/instrument shop they filmed in. I was thinking maybe the coffee shop because the sign on the wall says "we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone" and that's a lot of windows and fancy writing for a guitar shop, but then there are the band instruments hanging from the ceiling. What I really want to know is why is somebody holding Adam's mic stand horizontally. Is somebody trying to take it away from him?

I just got my Aquarian Wolf print from Adam & Chris Sanders!!! Just a heads up for those of you who ordered them - go check your mail today!! I can't believe it came so FAST! And now that I have the actual print in my grubby little hands, I gotta say it's even more gorgeous that I expected. Really detailed & deep pigment & just really really NICE. And of course it's signed by Adam & Chris. So glad I got one!!
