Trying to say I was wrong about Ryan Murphy and House of Cards but I keep messing up. Anyway, posted earlier without checking my facts...Sorry  Not a problem! ** Although, in the realm of political series, I think Adam is more suited to Alpha House than House of Cards.  |

I like to have all things that relate to Adam in one place. News thread was one of the main reasons why I chose to join Adamtopia. And one more thing: art is my region of expertise. I see every mistake, bad photoshoping, every error in painting or drawing you are showing here - I can't do anything about that, I'm wired that way. Does it bother me? No. I just know that people must do bad photoshoping, drawing or painting because this is their way of dealig with being a fan. Some of them will be better with time and practise, some of them will be arists one day. I started that way to, then I wanted to do my own art not fan art anymnore. That's why I like to see fan art here even if it's very bad fan art. Nice explanation of the some not so subtle photoshopping. Takes time to learn it as it's a skill also. I think it's cool that everyone one gets to express themselves creatively. |

I have watched that BTS a couple (dozen) times, and I am still not sure what the director says at :38. ".... enemies closer. So Kurt ______ to Eliot...." It sounds like "splits up" but that doesn't make sense. A little later Kurt is talking about plans with Eliot and says ".... and then later take in the second act of Pippin". Or some such thing. Huh? I don't get it. I know that Glee tends to have everyone talking super fast and slurry, but my old ears need some help here. Can't wait for Tuesday!
...it sure does sound like splits up to ... ....maybe it is "Kurt has slid up to Elliott" (the director does have a slight lispy quality to his voice) Kurt saying..." So excited we are doing this Elliott and then we can second act Pippin then go to Angus for after theatre cocktails" |

I'm late to answer (catching up on the thread after I woke up), but I have to say - You for sure don't sound rude Ladymaserati!  You are one of the nicest people I know here on Adamtopia! Seeing Adam walking with Kurt at 45 ish.... That WALK?... (rofl)Is it just me?..the shirt, the way it hangs on his body looks so geeky with the walk. So opposite of how I perceive Adam's walk. For those who have seen him in real life....is the show directed for that effect...or I am out of whack on the way I am seeing it?

Sorry edited my my text as it did not make sense. absolutely! NOT his natural walk at all! Even the way he hold his arms is not the way he does it naturally....funny  I noticed "the walk" too! I've done many, many of paintings/drawings of human figure in studio so always acutely aware of how someone holds their arms, posture, carriage. We've talked about his impeccable posture, but there is also something very distinct abt how he "holds" his arms in relation to his body. It's like more of the back of his hands show than how most ppl appear with thumbs showing most prominently. I noticed it in that very first AI audition when he walks in the room and then I was reminded of it when seeing a GIF on twitter (or here??) that someone made of his walk on AI audition side-by-side with his walk on AI this past week. I think it's exaggerated here because he's a little self-conscious abt his body movements when acting. He's really good and much more natural than most non-actors in things like this. But it is noticeable when he does things like pointing to the guitarist when he asks if he knows The Darkness song. I'm actually blown away that he's not more self-conscious, but I'd guess it's something he works on with director (and nervous giggle reaction, lol). I am so looking forward to this ep! In his first appearance on Glee, I was a little concerned I would be cringing a little as I usually do when musicians have walk-on or cameo appearances, but I was pleasantly surprised. He can really hold his own with an actor as talented as Chris Colfer! Plus I love their natural rapport! |
