Has anyone felt a little guilty for ever sporting negative thoughts towards scruffy Melvin after reading all those gushing remarks about Adam's hotness from Idol watchers? Because I have. (*hides in a corner. Bad, bad fan)

(*hides in a corner. Bad, bad fan) Everyone has different preferences. I've always been afraid to say that while I love Adam no matter what he chooses to do with his face, I much prefer his current more natural, less made-up look, bearded or beardless (I refuse to call it "Melvin") to many of his earlier looks. They were fun at the time, but I'm glad he's moved on for now. Who knows what he'll come up with next! Whatever it is, I'm sure it will work.  |

I know, but I'm glad she had this conversation with this fan because I'm pretty sure there're more fans feel the same way as this one. I think Idol understand how Adam always put on good words for them. His good karma always pays off. He's been in the show for the past few years. I think the only time he was not was when he was preparing for GNT tour and Idol called him at last minute.

I've always been afraid to say that while I love Adam no matter what he chooses to do with his face, I much prefer his current more natural, less made-up look, bearded or beardless (I refuse to call it "Melvin") to many of his earlier looks. They were fun at the time, but I'm glad he's moved on for now. Who knows what he'll come up with next! Whatever it is, I'm sure it will work. as it stands now I am like Dr Suess...
