Cassie, I had just been researching Justin Hawkins earlier today and then later saw that you had written: "Witout checking my keyboards, it sounds like D5s and F5s. Sung in falsetto. Both Adam and Chris can do that, no problem. The question is whether Adam will sing the high parts in full voice with lots of power. (I don't know that Chris can do that. Haven't heard him sing high in full voice. We will hear shortly.)" In Justin Hawkins wiki, it said: Listeners often mistake his higher singing voice as falsetto, when Hawkins himself has admitted he mainly uses head voice technique to achieve high notes. Then the wiki of the song itself said: Lead singer Justin Hawkins performs much of the song in head voice. So I guess I am confused now...are certain parts falsetto? I don't know much about singing voices at all. I just know I love Adam's voice. Thanks so much. You caught me. I tried to listen to the song but just didn't enjoy it. I listened to hear what high notes were being talked about and noted the shift in sound from chest voice, but wasn't really paying close attention. If he says it is head voice, then it is.

You caught me. I tried to listen to the song but just didn't enjoy it. I listened to hear what high notes were being talked about and noted the shift in sound from chest voice, but wasn't really paying close attention. If he says it is head voice, then it is. It's a mix of both. I'll try mapping it out, I'll bold head voice, italic falsetto, and regular text is chest voice. Can't explain all the feelings that you're making me feel My heart's in overdrive and you're behind the steering wheel Touching you -ou-ou, touching me- e-eTouching you, god you're touching me
I believe in a thing called love Just listen to the rhythm of my heartThere's a chance we could make it now We'll be rocking 'til the sun goes downI believe in a thing called loveOo-oo-ooh
So the chest voice is topping around A4 and the falsetto topping around D5. For most of the song he's hitting F5's in the head voice bits, but he does hit two A5's in head voice(!!) during and after the bridge, the first one is held and the second is a run up from D5. Both Kurt and Adam have shown that they have the range to handle this song in the past but it'll definitely be challenging and very different for both of them. That's why I'm excited to hear it. That and the general stripper pole Starkurt goodness... (On a side note Justin nailed that song when I saw The Darkness live last year, 10 years after its release!!)

I remember when Lyndsey first heard Music Again, she said she was not surprised Justin found Adam for that song because Adam and Justin were probably the only current singers who could hit that high note "Eyes Baby Eyes." Lyndsey is a huge Justin Hawkins fan!

The bottom of your iTunes page should have "Country." Click on it then switch back.BTW, here is the longer snippet. Should be accessibble to everyone t.co/a1PVD3N3nR
