Okay, Adam was all sorts of awesome in this episode. First, the vocal mix was 100 times better than the leaked version of the song. Adam sounds even better in this rendition. He kills that number (and totally blows Chris away - sorry to Chris fans, but it is the truth).
Second, the guy can ACT. I know it is not Shakespeare, but he is convincing and his lines sound like natural speech.
He is gorgeous. And comes off as very likeable. Almost "guy next door" if the guy next door to you is drop dead gorgeous.
This episode, even more than the first one, is a TOTAL WIN for our boy!
Three word review? I loved it.

Whew - that was great. GREAT! I want to smoke a cigarette and I quit in 1991!
The plot lines of "Glee" may be ridiculous or played out or whatever BUT it still has the best staging, choreography, photography, costuming, etc. for the songs. And it is FANTASTIC and fitting to see Adam in that kind of show-casing.
He looked so good singing, and I loved when he was telling Kurt he was on to him but really wanted to be friends. (I hope someone gets a screen cap that shows his whole outfit, belt, etc.). Although I have to say I enjoyed MORE entertaining the thought that he would be a temporary threat to "Blaine". . .
Anyway, of course, my s*&@^#r you were right - no lip gloss, he was eating those pastries with extra icing (but . . . why? is Kurt just really into foods as comfort - cronuts, expresso, pizza, etc. - or what? I will be looking forward to that gif anyway . . . )
And not one, not two, but three takes of Adam in the previews. With "sexy whiskers." Oh, yeah!

I agree with every word. It was AAAMMAAZZIINNG! Totally a natural. How can someone be so lovable and adorable, approachable and yet heart stopping gorgeous and fierce simultaneously? If the first episode generated buzz and offers, this one is going to be a mad race to his door with contracts in hand! |
