This is not from some random blogger, this is from ABC Radio News. It is now on many classic rock station web news pages. If there is no official statement that it is not true within 3 or 4 hours (morning London time), they I will take it as confirmation that there will be an announcement on Thursday. Not saying the news isn't true, because I believe it is..... but the story originated here..... The Mike McBeasty Show twitter.com/MCBEASTYMODENot from ABC Radio News. They, like many others, took the McBeasty report/leak and ran with it. Mike McBeasty published it and tweeted it out -- here is is post: mcbeasty.com/2014/02/27/queen-and-adam-lambert-to-make-announcement-next-week/Scroll down the page and it says "Copyright 2014 ABC News Radio" because it is from ABC News Radio. It is on the news for distribution site. I strongly doubt that ABC New Radio would put it up if it was not based on the notice of a press event. >> Usually these notices are not considered news. Queen makes it newsworthy -- particularly to classic rock stations. |

Well poop. I had a heck of a time trying to renew my expired membership about a month ago...and they insisted it was MY problem. Outdated browser, uncleared cache. No and No....I'm beginning to question the ability of their developers. Anyhoo...hope this gets resolved soon. Like to support Adam...but damn!  I took me 6 months to get access to my account on ALFC -- even thought they took my renewal money. I really wish Adam would get a better fanclub company. :( ** Pleased that we only have a week to wait for the announcement! I can't get on either.. Wrong e mail,wrong name.. I have my paid receipt with all the correct info sitting on my lap... but no way to get on. I just sent them an e mail.It took me ages to join too. Ridiculous.Why is something so simple soo hard.. |

But they haven't denied it either. Dr May is usually very quick to get on twitter and squash rumors. Actually, so does Shoshanna! I think the rock radio stations got a semi press release, because they are invited to this "event" which I believe will be a press conference. I BELIEVE!!!!!!!!!! Now that is quite possible regarding someone leaking an invite. But I'm not sure I agree about how Dr. May quickly squashes rumors...he usually waits til there is far more speculation to make a stink about. Again not saying it won't happen, I just would hate to see people get their hopes up and then dashed because some bloke started a rumor to fuck with people.... |
