Adam has met a lot of young and current Swedish musicians during his stay in Stockholm and at least 5 people he's taken a pic with are competing in the 'Melodifestivalen'. It's a music competition for new music and the winner will represent Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest later this spring. Tonight in Lidköping 8 groups compete for the last two spots in the final which takes place next saturday in Stockholm. Two of the groups that take the stage tonight have members Adam met but as Lidköping is 4 hours drive away I guess he'll be cheering to them via TV. Hm, maybe I should watch too just in case he'll be in the audience... 
(YLE Fem at 21.00 and at the same time we get AI boys' night with Adam bits on AVA...) Oh, forgot to include the names of the groups: JEM with Love Trigger and State of Drama with All We Are.
... and JEM is one of the favourites to advance

EVERYDAY! No, never. I am just here for the music. I am also a lying liar who lies. :D Me, too, occasionally:) ******** Allow me to elaborate (or not:) I find some of his looks simply irresistible; sometimes, he just looks ridiculous to me, in the most affectionate sense of the word. I think he is a beautiful man, his best physical feature being a chameleon-like quality of pulling off different kinds of vibes, but it's not essential to my stanning. I don't feel obliged to like his appearance at all times nor does it impact my impression of him as a singer, songwriter and actor in any kind of way. In that sense, I am here just for the music. I have no problem of voicing my dislike of his looks at particular occasions and I don't feel less supportive and less of a fan if I do so, which I cannot say for his work - I have this strong need to like whatever he does, and when I do, which is most often the case, it feels great. (I feel great). Slowly but surely, I'm starting to find all the cyber drooling over his looks something which I have grown over. I'll support him even when he grows old and wrinkly; and in the same way I have no problem to see fans adoring his looks, I expect them to not have issues with me and others who don't do/feel like it. My favourite Adam look is when he shows his emotional side, when I can see his feelings on his face (and he has a very expressive face). So again, it is not so much/only about the aesthetics. (Except for his eyes - they are a thing of utmost beauty and will be so until the day he dies.) But the beauty of his work is definitely something I will be looking for and drooling over. I find his striped shirt absolutely hideous:) |

ETA: He tweeted about major Queen live touring news last year ... a bit premature but I will always trust Doug bc he is close to the artists and tweets sparingly. IMO Doug likes to mess with Adam's fans. I doubt he has inside information about Adam anymore. |

Another random observation. Anton Hysén, the football player was in the audience of Let's Dance where his dad started to compete yesterday, Anton himself won that competition show earlier. I believe they met at a night club Le Bon Palais that hosts a gay night called Candy on fridays. Adam's pics with the boys were from there. From the IG comments I understand that the boys that are part of Pink Pistols were actually trying to find Adam in the club (it's a big one, three levels etc). They had seen an IG that their friend took with Adam and apparently wanted to meet - and succeeded (the pic with Adam's shirt buttons opened). Pink Pistols also participated in the Melodifestivalen competition but got eliminated.

The Autostraddle article had me  One of the best; 'It’s pretty obvious Blaine isn’t the smartest kid in their graduating class because he is wearing a bowtie with a polo shirt.' And of course they love Adam! 'Next week we’re promised that “Adam Lambert will get stuck in between Santana and Rachel’s feud,” which sounds like a sex dream I had last week.' |
