With all the speculation the last couple days about Adam's big announcement on GMA, at first I thought it had to be something other than QAL because it didn't make sense to me that Adam would make the announcement and then run over to MSG to make the announcement again.
Now that it sinks in, I think it makes excellent sense. The QAL tour is really two things. It's a big chapter for Adam and it's a big chapter for Queen. Both seperate, distinct artists. Adam deserves the moment to make the announcement as an artist to his fans and the public. It's a big deal that Queen is inviting him to front a North American tour and it will generate just that much more hype for the press event that takes place immediately following his GMA appearance.
At the MSG event it's Queen's turn to tell the world of their upcoming tour. Adam will be part of that event but it's Queen's announcement.
Some of my thoughts on what the "huge" announcement could have been when I was thinking it wasn't QAL...
- ABC and Adam announce a new reality singing competition that Adam will star in.
- Adam announces he's staring in the movie version of Jesus Christ Superstar with Jared Leto.
- Adam is holding a 5-hour private concert for members of Atop.... 
Someone asked upthread if we might see a concert on GMA at some point. Those morning show concerts are great exposure so I would think that would be a great idea! Adam tweeted about GMA but I think Brian and Roger will be there. If Adam tweeted that he, Brian and Roger would be on GMA for a huge announcement, that would let the cat out of the bag. I do not think Sirrus was supposed to announce that interview until tomorrow. |

I liked that Lay Me Down remix except for the stupid transposed vocals, so I fixed them. picosong.com/ewkT/Sounds a lot better IMO

Ahhh, I see Q3. Brian and Roger will be at GMA too? I hadn't considered that.
I thought we were so perplexed by it because he was going to be there on his own, but it all makes sense now. Thanks for clarifying.
