Adam tweeted about GMA but I think Brian and Roger will be there. If Adam tweeted that he, Brian and Roger would be on GMA for a huge announcement, that would let the cat out of the bag. I do not think Sirrus was supposed to announce that interview until tomorrow. Totally agree, Q3, that Adam will be with Brian and Roger tomorrow on GMA. I could see Adam introducing Brian and Roger.. "Ladies and Gentlemen...QUEEN!" Enter Brian and Roger..interview begins. You know how enthusiastic Adam is about these fine gents and touring with them. Then off to MSG for the formal press conference. Then Sirius..gotta say, that's one fine promo day. Hit TV, printed or online media and radio in one fell swoop. GAME ON!!!! But what will he wear!!! Serious or rock and roll? Metal or pop? Leather or lace? |

Driving to the gym, I was listening to the Editor's Hour on the EW channel on Sirius (Channel 105). The hosts said that so and so and so and so would be on tomorrow. I wasn't that interested, AND then they said ADAM LAMBERT would be in the studio at 5:00 pm for an interview! IF I understand correctly, this will be in addition to the interview with with Brian and Roger on the Sirius classic rock channel. It looks like they will be doing a lot of media tomorrow. I think they have a couple of days of press and promotion planned. But the Madison Square Garden event will cover a lot of press if it is like similar events. |

Did Adam and Lea record their song together or separately and it was edited together. How about the group numbers?
I am so excited about the news tomorrow...I'll be at work but I'm recording it and will watch as soon as I'm off (about noon).

Adam has been performing in several benefit concerts in the last couple of years, so maybe he's ready to organize one himself, with Queen. I'm wondering if there might be some benefit rock and roll festival event up his (tattoo) sleeve, that will be the kick off to the "tour" or the grand finale of it. Adam is not running this tour, Brian and Roger are. Brian and Roger pushed the go button. Brian and Roger will approve the tour plan. And the addition of a benefit depends on a lot of things including the logistics and the promoter and the venue contracts. You can't do a tour like this and just chuck in a festival or charity event. My bet is they kick this off with a big concert in a Queen friendly city -- that is at one geographic end of the tour -- Miami, Montreal**, Boston-NY* or LA fit that. * My bet. ** They might start with a smaller or lower profile venue first as a warm-up. Depends how ready they feel. That would give Montreal a real shot at being #1 date. Limited US coverage from there. With only 15 dates, I expect a pretty direct circuit for this tour. North America is a big place and they are not going to want to go from LA to Montreal to Miami to Chicago to San Jose to NYC. |
