 Very funny Soulmate! Luckily my DH has connections with the arena booker where we live and is going to try and get us tickets for Houston. We can drive it and stay with my 84 year old mother who lives alone there. Makes my life easier which I desperately need because I suffered a stroke last week. It was a very mild one and I was very fortunate and glad I survived to see Adam and Queen this summer. What's frustrating is that I can no longer type fast with my right hand. Ugh! Good luck everyone with getting tickets!! So sorry about the stroke. Glad it was mild. I hope the best for the recovery of your right side. Why don't you post a lot on Atop as therapy????  |

Guys, it was a joke.
Roger was saying his Diva comment and then realized that he had to explain it, to not come off wrong. Adam used it to make this joke about his rider. Unfortunately, I don't think the listening public is necessarily in on his joke, though, but then there may be many listeners who do not even know what a rider is either. I sure would not have known this 5 years ago.
Anywhoo...whatever it is that the public will take away from that part of the interview, I did know that fans here would know that he has a very understated rider.
So, I meant to remind folks of this absolutely ridiculous rider that the Ukrainian media made up (for no apparent reason - and probably not with good intentions), but anyways....
This report then got picked up by the Russians media, which meant that every news outlet asked him about his demands in his rider and Adam had a hard time figuring out why they were asking him that.
But one of the items in that made up rider were these 14 gal of milk, and that is not even a question of being demanding, this is just absurd. And so everyone was joking about this.
I thought that this story would be known in these insider circles here and so tried to joke about the comment.
Clearly this did not work....me bad.
So, therefore for clarification here. No, Adam's requests for tea bags, honey and a veggie tray, do not symbolize a demanding rider or diva-esque behavior. Most certainly not.

If I was Adam I would have strangled that idiot with my own hands - what people have to do for the publicity hounds. Lol, was thinking similar thoughts. First thought was, do we think that non-political Adam even has a clue who he is taking that picture with? Secondly, I bet Neil and Eber will be delighted to see this. Oh, the irony that comes from being associated with Fox via two different TV shows. lol. (And B+R are probably just going along for the ride too). But Sean Hannity seems delighted. So, there is that. Strange world. I have no clue what you guys are talking about. Is there something wrong with one of people in this photo? I don't know who they are. |
