Looked like Adam had on regular shoes...not his heeled ones.
Dancy....you asked about the Elvis book in the old thread.....the pic of Adam in my copy isn't the one from yesterday's header, but the one with his hand to his head. It looks much better in the book than in the twitpics. I've noticed that a couple of people said that the one with his hands on his glasses and his puckered lips was the pic in their book....but not in mine.

According to wiki, Brian May is 1.88 meters = approx. 6' 1". I was surprised, too, that Adam looked shorter. Brian wasn't wearing big heels or anything, either... just running shoes. So, I don't get it! Its the afro

WOW!!! What a day!!! Anyone have any thoughts about which of the tour venues have the best sound? No contest.... The Joint in Las Vegas was designed for Rock Acts that are normally booked in Arenas. Great sound system. It is only 4,000 seats, has great acoustics and was not built for hockey!! Even the top level gets good reviews. Here is Trip Advisor's concert venue reviews: www.tripadvisor.com/Attraction_Review-g45963-d1551457-Reviews-The_Joint-Las_Vegas_Nevada.htmlThe only negative about this venue is that the VIP Suites are not great for music, they are designed to make the people in them feel cool and they are expensive.

So, I don't get it! That is because Wiki is wrong. In his track shoes, Brian is around 6'4" (I think he is 6' 2" but for some reason lists himself as 6'1.5" with no shoes.) I have been next to Brian wearing 5" heals, which makes me 6'1" and Brian was about 3" taller. I did not think to ask him to take off his shoes. Then there is 3" of hair. Adam is 6'1". But I agree, Brian just looks super tall.

And what about other venus? Any of them any good acoustically? How about the outdoor Merriweather Post Pavilion? I see the Merriweather has a caoacity of 19,316 but only 5,200 seats are covered. Hope I get 1 of the 5,200 covered seats in case if rain. But hiw does the sound differ from areana and beteween covered & uncovered seating?
