Vancouver is all chairs. Folding chairs on the floor. ETA: I just got Row 18 without using a VIP package -- only CA $143. Row 5 with VIP. Both are great seats! |

Because most of these shows are in arenas there will be lots of good seats come up on Friday. As an example.....Vancouver (Rogers Arena) has a very large number of season ticket holders. All season ticket holders are offered their season ticket seats or an upgrade through a first right of refusal email. We have 24 hrs. to accept those tickets once the email hits our inbox. If we decline/let the 24 hrs. elapse then they are released for the general public sale on Friday. I am currently waiting for my email.... and biting my nails. How do you get on to that e-mail list? I did get three seats but they are up in the gods at the Rogers Arena. You have to hold current season tickets for the Canucks. Wait until Friday. There should be better seats available then. |

I HAVE A QUESTION RE. VANCOUVER TICKETS!!!When I look at the seating map, the blue "floor" section looks like it's all GA = standing. I'm going with someone who can't do GA standing... she'll be needing a seat. But when I clicked on "best available seats", it came up with two tickets in the blue section, but it said "FLOOR, ROW 40, SEATS 9-10"So, there are seats in the blue GA section?  I'd be happy to buy those two "seats" if, in fact, they are actually seats!!! It depends on the artist. I'm betting these are floor seats. Not 100% sure, but seats would be my guess for a 'Legacy Act' like Queen. |

I was able to get VIP for Vancouver section 119 ( on the side, row 7 seat 3. Kept checking other options and most came up as floor.) Since I am not a tall person, decided from the side was better than having someone standing in front of me and trying to look around them. has happened to many other times. Anyway, now on to the rest of the logistics of getting to Vancouver. Anyone know if there is a decent hotel within a block or two of Rogers Arena. I booked a room at the Georgian court in Vancouver 1 604.682.5555 and it is supposed to be within a block of the concert venue. It had good reviews too. Rogers Arena is not one of those 'out in the middle of nowhere' arenas. It is in the downtown core. Tons of hotels within walking distance. Also, anyone thinking of flying into YVR (Vancouver International) there is rapid transit (The Skytrain) that will take you from the airport to downtown. Easy Peasy. |

Is presale over? Ticetmaster won't take my presale code for Calgary. It won't take anything and I'm logged in. viv, I just tested and could get in to Calgary with the code. Select the # tickets you want& ticket type FIRST and then you should be able to enter code. Good luck!!! Thanks, Avari! I finally called TM and found out how to get in. Then I got picky and started ending up with seats I really didn't want. LOL... I deleted my post as I have the info I need now. Thanks everybody for your help. Gonna have lunch and look again. |
