Don't you wonder how it came to pass that Adam was picked to play with Queen? I can't imagine it was "We Are the Champions" from the Idol finale. Maybe it was "Beth" that sparked the interest. Maybe they liked his tone and then happened upon the Zodiac YT's. Anyone know?

Greetings Adamtopians, Adamrocks is taking my two extra Chicago tickets so they are no longer available. I will post this info on the Chicago meet up thread also. OH! I am so excited! AND THANK YOU EVERYONE WHO HELPED ME DO THIS....SO EXCITED. I am glad I made the decision to go for it and travel! All because of Adam and you GREAT people here!!  ETA: Glasskam I emailed you!

Lots of people emailed them and told them they had to watch this kid on AI which they did. I suspect they instigated being on the finale to see experience him up front. The rest is history. |

Maybe they liked his tone and then happened upon the Zodiac YT's. Anyone know? Brian and Roger have both spoken about it. Numerous friends and fans emailed/tweeted/called them about this great singer on Idol who had auditioned with Bo Rap. They checked him out on YT, were impressed and followed the season. They were asked to appear on the finale and agreed because they wanted to meet/scope out this guy. All three have said they just clicked when they met for the finale, and felt something. They agreed that they should do something together some time in the future. They kept track of one another, and when Queen needed a lead singer for the EMAs, they called him. Or that is the story I have heard. |

I always suspected it was during the Idol Finale when Adam was standing next to Brian and, as he started singing his lines, you could see Brian's head snap around to look at him. Then he shook his head slightly and smiled. For me, that was when the seed was planted. It took a few years to germinate, but I am so grateful that we are finally going to see this collaboration here!! And we will have a kajillion videos of all the concerts to savor and pore over, which will be a great time filler until A3 comes along!  |

Hi all - any advice of the value of upgrading a Philly ticket in section 101, row 19 to VIP diamond in section 1 on the floor? In some respects the bundle add-ons are not that much more than buying a t-shirt, program, etc. on top of the ticket. I'll be GA in Merriweather (so close up) and arena seat in MSG so different experiences. The joys of living in MD... I feel you all understand the addiction....thanks
