and again no mention of Nile or Adam on VEVO...or am I missing it somehow? I really looked: published on Mar 13, 2014 Buy the album on iTunes: smarturl.it/TrueAVICII Listen to the album on Spotify: TRUE
Music video by Avicii performing Lay Me Down. (C) 2013 Avicii Music AB, under exclusive license to Universal Music ABFrankly, Tim is on my s**t list for a while now, and he ain't getting off of it any time soon it seems... Poor Nica. Have you had a bad day? I believe that all the performers on Avicii's album signed an agreement up front that their names would not be listed as featured artists. They all knew what they were getting into. When his songs are played on the radio, just Avicii's name is announced. Is there something else that keeps him on you s**t list? Thank you, Holst, I had a wonderful day! That bolded fact got him on my list: I find it outrageous, insecure, underhanded and immoral....may be he is just a kid and does whatever his management tells him of course.... plus at the summer Nile's benefit Tim managed to NOT acknowledge Nile's and Adam's participation, while both of them were right there - WHAT??? Then Tim came up with that horrific remix...now, no mention on Vevo... It is great Adam gets some song writing royalties though

I know this is pretty long but I couldn't resist posting it because it is priecless!! mmadamimadamm @mmadamimadamm 2h MT foxvegas · @queenwillrock @drbrianmay @officialrmt @adamlambert Venue Swamped w/Requests For Queen & Lambert Tix fb.me/6tClaS5rQ
(Adam/Brian pic here)
Adam Lambert Fan club Venue Swamped With Fan Requests For Queen and Adam Lambert Concert Tickets I interviewed a lovely person at one of the venues where @queenwillrock, @drbrianmay @officialrmt & @adamlambert will be in concert this summer, and I learned a lot of very cool things from her. She graciously agreed to talk with me for ALFC about the explosion of ticket sales for the Queen and Adam concert that has happened in her office over this past few days.
Q. So, you've worked in this venue for 6 years and you've seen a lot of great artists come through in concert. What did you experience this time with the Queen and Adam Lambert show that was so different from all other concerts?
A. Usually, when an artist is booked, the requests for tickets begin to trickle in, but only after there is an announce date. People start calling and asking about the show at a pretty comfortable pace. I reply one on one to their requests, that's how we do it here, and usually I get their questions answered in a timely manner. People get a call back from me within a few hours.
Q What did you notice that was different with the way fans were calling and purchasing tickets for the Queen and Adam Lambert concerts?
A Oh, my! The requests came in at an exponential rate! I was going on holidays, and I worked here Thursday night until 7:00 PM, went home for a bit and was back here at 8:00 PM and stayed until midnight!
I'd reply to one caller and 10 more calls would pop up. It went like that for 24 hours. The day of the announcement, I had to call in extra help! I also called my boss, as we didn't have time to answer one question when more would pop up.
Q It must have been frantic...
A It was! It was really WILD! People were calling and saying, "I want tickets for the Adam Lambert show or for the Queen and Adam Lambert concert!"
Q At what point that day did you realize that it was getting out of control, that you were going to need help?
A The night of the announcement, when I didn't have time to answer questions for one caller before other calls popped up! I was leaving notes all over for people working while I was away.
Q So, it was like nothing you've ever seen before in your 6 years with this venue?
A Yes exactly, and I would say we were not 100% prepared for this at all!
NOTE: I talked with this wonderful person a few times and she was delightful, very professional and is excellent at her job. I'll look forward to meeting her when I go to the concert at her venue. ~ Bren Photo Credit ~ ©Thilo Rahn Like · · Share · 2 hours ago

Just for what it is worth. The then unheard of and non-credited Aloe Blacc has the #5 song and #4 album on itunes right now. Every time Wake Me Up is played on an radio with ID tracking his name shows up, I frequently hear the DJ's give him credit as well. He was no where near as uncredited as it would appear at first glance. His high profile right now is totally due to being on that song - credited or not he is benefiting in a major way. I was noticing this phenomena as well! So glad you pointed this out, graciejane. Is there any chance of this song ever being released as a single? I know it's not the same style as the songs released featuring Blacc, but it sure is a catchy tune of "disco deliciousness," as Adam called it. I don't have an educated guess about LMD being a single at some point. I have wondered though why it was the only song not on the Avicii channel from the True release date, all the others were there. Now after so many months this snippet shows up, it is an interesting development.

Yes I agree that some of the FYE stuff is up there as far as vocally challenging, but I feel Queen's hopping from genre to genre from soft power ballad to near heavy metal is more strenuous. Not just the notes, but the sliding from style to style. Just my opinion. and for the second question, Yes, QPR actually did Kiev a few years before QAL did. QPR did it in 2008 in the exact same square and was released on DVD/CD in 2009 And that was 350,000 as well and that was without the added benefit of having Elton John on the bill as well! And yes they did tours of Japan (some gigs @ 25,000) , South America (Buenos Aires was 45,000) and other venues. So while many venues were at the 10-15,000 range some regularly popped over those numbers. Queen Concertsis a great place to learn about audience, etc. from any Queen or related gig Q+PR -- Played Kharkiv Ukraine Freedom Square, not Kiev. *** I understood the skepticism about Adam singing lead on Queen songs before the 2012 concerts but not sure what question remains at this point. He has now proved he can easily slide from genre to genre -- even on Queen songs. If we are going to get into numbers, the Q+PR tour played arena that could hold 20,000 people but used the small configuration. They are using the full arenas for this tour. There are boxscores for 15 of the North American concerts from the Q+PR tour. The average paid attendance was 6,970 and the average number of seats available for sale was 9,857. Here are three of the highest selling concert that there were Box Score for. Q+PR: The Palace Auburn Hills 10,296 / 10,296 Q+AL: The Palace Auburn Hills configured for 24,000 Q+PR: Air Canada Centre Toronto 11,279 / 11,279 Q+AL: Air Canada Centre Toronto configured for 19,800 Q+PR: Allstate Arena Rosemont. IL 7,441 / 9,500 Q+AL: United Center Chicago, IL configured for 20,500 The Q+PR tour did not have a big set, the used risers and lights and video. It was more like how they toured the use in 1974 then it was like 1978 or 1980. This tour will apparently involve a massive set, a 20 row long catwalk with spotlight performance area in the crowd. And it will have real special effect. Rumor is that it will have full environmental effect and lots of fire like the grand Queen arena tours. So while Queen + Paul Rodger played a lot of venues that had 15,000 to 20,000 seats there was not 15,000 to 20,000 people in those seats. That's why I didn't mention North America. QPR was massively under promoted over here. I think QAL has gotten more promotion in a week than QPR got all tour! But some venues in Japan and South America as well as some European venues even were definitely played to 25,000 people in sears...not all but on some occasions. And yes I did make a boo boo with Kiev/Kharjov but the 350,000 was the same I'm not sure how I see the staging being that much bigger. If you look at the return of the champions DVD you'll see they had a pretty big catwalk and spotlight performance area as we'll. it just was straight instead of curved... Oh and I'm not really a skeptic...I was just explains what I thought PR meant when he was talking about AL and how I didn't deel he was being condescending.
